The mark of a true leader is knowing the line between good governance and freedom. Biden is not a good leader.

Mao, Stalin, Hitler....were all leaders as well. Very effective leaders. Perhaps there is more to it than simply being a leader?

"Leader" Trump is first and foremost a divider. He has stated a number of times that the likes and encourages chaos. Even a casual look at his administration will confirm that. Trump's presidency has by any measure been detrimental to America and Americans.
President "Not Trump" if nothing else will not ENCOURAGE conflict.

Greg Of course I do. But we have to draw the line somewhere. If the government can ban any behavior based on some abject conclusion that it has bad consequences, then they have full control over our lives. The price of freedom is failure. I would rather pay that price that than the price of tyranny.

I more concerned that a leftist is going to become President and pursue a national lock down with martial law.

You might want to adjust your tyranny threshold sensor.

Most of you fully supported the lock downs, fully supported the use of law enforcement, even curfews and what not. You fully backed the actions of Governor Newsom and that witch from Michigan. Ya'll supported Cuomo. All of them. No democracy, just straight up emergency declarations. How in the world is it irrational to assume that the left, which is all about centralized control, would not back the same policies at the national level? It seems silly to assume they wouldn't.

Being required to wear a flimsy quasi-medical mask during a pandemic is tyranny? You might want to adjust your tyranny threshold sensor. You can be fined, businesses shut down, and hauled off to jail for not wearing that flimsy piece of cloth during a "pandemic" that is basically harmless to the vast majority of people. You are giving up all your rights over a big ass lie. Do these emergency declarations really need to continue? Why aren't there real discussions going on, laws being passed, how about some debate? Ya that takes time and maybe you won't get what you want...but that seems to be the problem isn't it? If they ended the "emergencies" tomorrow do you think there would be that big of an issue? Everyone is just going to start dying in the streets or something? What do you think would happen?

Those responses positively shriek with the fear that you are projecting into others.
I know you can't see that, but that is what it is.
Irrational fear in the face of real issues over which you feel powerless.

Irrational fear in the face of real issues over which you feel powerless. Hell ya there is fear there and it isn't irrational. These assholes completely closed down society and crashed the economy. There is no denying that. Millions of people had their rights violated and were classified as nonessential. They had no right to go out and make a living to support themselves or their families. Nonessential, as in not needed. It's fucking disgusting. All over a disease that is mostly harmless to the vast majority of people that it infects. There is no emergency. There is no need for these emergency declarations. You've been had.
