This evening (2-18-23) the local PBS station here played a good movie, "The King's Speech". It chronicles how Prince Albert, manages to conquer his stuttering with the help of an unlicensed but very talented speech therapist, and eventually become King when his brother, King Edward, abdicated in 1936 in order to marry the American Mrs. Simpson. Decent movie. |

Decent movie.
The one that followed this broadcast, "The Madness of King George" wasn't quite as good. It was in its own way a bit shocking, what with all the restrictions his subordinates managed to put on poor Georgie. I suppose it was partial punishment for the loss of the American colony.

He's long moved away, but we still watch South Park together. This episode is one of the best. They are only about 20 minutes long. You really should watch. |

I remember watching South Park about 15 years or so ago. Haven't watched it in years. They keep getting better. The Harry and Megan episode is worth watching, as are the Kanye is the only person in the world who doesn't understand the fish sticks joke episodes. |

Thanks for posting the Richard Lewis interview with David Letterman.
Apparently Lewis had Parkinson's, which is tough to survive anyway.
He is missed.
