Well, I think I'm not drunk enough tonight really to be able to appreciate Ocean's 11 properly. That's why I'm recording it, so I can bust it out for some time when I am drunk (or high) enough. Unfortunately that day or evening may never come.
So be it.

After "Oceans 11" the local PBS station showed an older Brit "Prime Suspect" two part series (four hours total) show called "Keeper of Souls", from all the way back in 1993. The leading character is Chief Detective Jane Tennyson. As it came on I started watching in spite of myself, and it reeled me in. Here's a synopsis:
The second part will air in a week... when I suppose all will be revealed. Not sure what a "rent boy" is, but it sort of sounds like Bert or RWB.

And tonight (8/11/22) the local PBS station is playing a relatively rare flick.
Saturday Night Movie
The Third Man
1 hour 44 min
Set in postwar Vienna, Austria, "The Third Man" stars Joseph Cotten as Holly Martins, a writer of pulp Westerns, who arrives penniless as a guest of his childhood chum Harry Lime (Orson Welles), only to find him dead.
Now, I remember listening to the radio back in the early 60's to the Third Man audio dramas. I recall it was Welles who narrated a lot of it. I especially liked the music. Zither I imagine it was. And of course there was Welle's voice.
Of course I'm recording this to DVD. The movie plot description says the character played by Welles is found dead. So there is that.

I'm just lurking here and there, listening to youtube on the other screen when this
fashion show comes up on the list of recommended video. What a great time to be alive!
Some of these woman be finer than fish on Friday.
I only watch to listen to the music.

I don't know if I'd say it's overrated.
I did find it somewhat difficult to keep track of all the comings and goings and who was doing what to whom and why.
Great music, though.
