It's like we are being bombed, and you are arguing not to go to a shelter because only a few houses out of the millions are actually being hit by the bombs. Physiology for me, then graduate work in computational biology.
The problem is not whether we can respect or communicate with those like rabbit.
The problem is they are easily convinced of whatever their media tells them, and they vote.
I don't see either changing, which means the only real way to beat them is to outnumber them, educate them (or at least, their offspring), or out-maneuver them.

Disagree. If the eggheads say lockdowns, in some areas, will help contain the pandemic, then we should give it a try. Right now it seems to be out of control, thanks to Cheetolini's disastrous reign.
Last I heard is that a covid vaccine won't be ready for general distribution until next Fall. That's 9-21. Think about it.

And then suffer the consequences silently.
As for dodging the bullet... have you seen the recent spikes in Covid infections? How is that progress?
Of course lockdowns are hard and may have adverse effects. So did blackouts during WW2. But the consequences of not locking down then were much worse. In this situation, it can take a lot longer to see the adverse effects of not locking down. But they will be fatal to many regardless. What really bothers me is the excuse of those like Bugsy who dismiss the deaths of covid victims as inevitable anyway. They are not. Nor are the long term ill health effects of those who have managed to recover from Covid without dying. If we do the right things NOW.
