I’m trying to get to the bottom of what you mean by “beat the virus”. I asked the same of Ody in other threads. What does “beat” mean? This is when Ody starts calling me names. But these are just basic questions. You’re saying “beat”. What does that mean? Beat means manage the infection rate to a point that makes it non-threatening to the general populace.
Ebola has not been eradicated, but the incidences are so low, it effectively doesn't exist in this country. Same can be said for many major diseases.
Unfortunately, that is the best we will get until a true vaccine is developed, and even then, there will be idiots who refuse to take it.

And if they expire and the virus makes a resurgence, do you go back to the mandated policies of lockdown, social distancing, and masks? Conservative estimates place the actual infections at 5 times that, with the higher end estimates being 10 times that number. 50 to 100 million people. The vast majority experience no symptoms or very minor symptoms. So is this really threatening to the general populace? |
