There is absolutely nothing good about this. We need more than the word of this one dude the police have no record of arresting tho.
This is as bad as the "strike forces" being mobilized in California to target businesses and people violating the governor's edicts.

It’s funny how libs complain when Trump doesn’t help states with the virus, and yet now they want him to stay away. It’s time to search and destroy. Identify the violent protesters, find them and then exterminate them. Wheeler and Brown have been absolute failures, the feds got involved when the state refused to protect the Federal buildings. For too long Antifa thugs have run rufshot, no more. From those on the outside its easy to say no, this or that shouldn't be done but if your smack dab in the middle of it, your livelihood has been destroyed and you get no help from those that took an oath to protect and serve then don't be surprised when the hammer drops. 50 days this has been going on, every night.. all Wheeler and Brown have proposed is defunding the police.. There are a whole lotta people in this state that are done and welcome order being restored. |

For those who are historically astute (a rarity on LNF, based on other threads), the "Nazi" parallel is closer to the Munich Beer Hall Putsch of 1923. Ironically, the crackdown by police ultimately bolstered Hitler's rise to power; we may see the same effect of elevating the political power of the protest movement.

If you were actually historically astute, you would know Hitler's real rise to power wasn't a failed beer hall putsch but the 1933 Enabling Act that centralized power and allowed him to put down protests and dissidents with no legal restraints as soon as Hindenburg died. Our Dear Orange Leader would love to have such power, since he is a huge fan of centralized executive power.

So, we elected a Neo-Nazi to the presidency in 2016, and the GOP majority Senate has been his prime enabler. Where he can't win bills in Congress, he resorts to executive orders and rule by fiat.
Clearly Trump is more than willing to play dirty: to sabotage our Postal Service so that mail-in ballots won't be fully counted on election day. To manipulate Covid-19 stats by yanking them away from the CDC and putting them in the hands of one of his cabinet officers. All the while Trump complained that the 2016 election was rigged, he was just playing his usual game of planning to rig elections for himself and use the tit for tat defense.
Anyone who cannot see through Trump's cynical and criminal conduct needs to wake up.

OMG, do you people on the left read what the heck you write? Never read so much garbage in my entire life. Where are the "work camps" that someone mentioned on the first page? The only "work camps I'm aware of were during the "Great Depression" before any of us were born. The gov and the Mayor of Portland and of Oregon said out loud and on tv at the beginning of this insurrection, that it was okay that the rioters were destroying peoples' and the govt property. Go ahead. It's just a lark, in their opinion. No laws were enforced. The police were actually told by the Mayor and the Gov to "stand down", so they had to do that and watch their beautiful city be destroyed in that area.
Now the POTUS has had enough of this destruction around various parts of our nation, all being done by antifa members and others who want to destroy some of what is good in the U.S. We do not attack or destroy that which we don't own. We can demonstrate against it, but we cannot destroy it. Those who want to do that are the people behaving like Nazis and the Gestapo. So now, our POTUS has had enough and is stepping in with federal troops, just as the POTUS did when they escorted the little black girl to the first desegregated school in then South (Arkansas, I believe, but I'm not sure.) Dang, she was so small and brave. I never will forget the picture of her walking surrounded by those large men just to go to a decent grade school.
Now they have to protect buildings and property with the same authority. Sad day in the U.S.A. But just as desegregation of schools, what has to be done has to be done, no matter what Hitlerites on the left do.

Furthermore, what these law enforcement officers are doing goes way beyond protecting federal buildings. So, on what basis are these officers arresting people? What federal laws are the protesters and/or rioters breaking? And if they're enforcing state laws, which in some cases they can, then the state requires them to identify themselves and the reason for the arrest (which they are reportedly not doing). |
