I don't have an issue with the unmarked vehicles and they are wearing identifying arm badges. This is a war, Antifa is a real issue in Portland and has been for several years. I live near Portland, I have seen the danger to anyone in the area, it matters not what your skin color is or which side of the isle you are on. They are a violent gang, the leadership of Portland and the State of Oregon has chosen to not reign them in, they have in fact allowed them to destroy this beautiful city and threaten the lives and livelihood of tax paying citizens. If it takes bringing in the troops to help the police then so be it.. One Antifa terrorist at a time should be ripped from our streets. |

I don't have an issue with the unmarked vehicles and they are wearing identifying arm badges. Police wear badges with a number and display their names for a reason, so they can be identified and held responsible for their actions. |

On the contrary, it is nurtured, supported and built with the consent of moms and grandmothers, fathers, brothers, uncles, etc.

These soldiers are pretending to the "Police". Why don't they dress like police? Where are their name badges and badge numbers? In a lock box?
Folks, this is the sort of thing we can look forward to with four more years of Trump. We need to back off from the precipice and vote him out of office.
Yes, Joe Biden isn't perfect. But he's the sort who will admit when he's wrong and will work with compassion and intelligence.
The alternative under another term of Trump may well turn into civil war. Not the Left wants it, but it may be forced upon them.

Most likely they are wearing them so they don't gas themselves. But I think the guy in the photo foreground might be a protestor wearing his own mask.
I happen to have a full face respirator like the Portland Gestapo is wearing. I got it for spray painting a vehicle with catalyzed urethane paint. It worked very well. However new cartridges might be hard to find these days. And those that are available have soared in price.

From what I've read, the Portland Mayor, the Oregon Governor, and one of the two Oregon Senators have all stated they don't want Trump's Gestapo there. Apparently the county sheriff approved their deployment. I suspect that if his is an elected position, he might have a hard time come next election.
