The right has fully bought into the narrative that protestors = violent anarchists.
Now there are no erosions of civil liberty too egregious to justify in response. This is how democracy dies.

So all those shows for decades showing undercover police and feds are fake. This is the first time this has been done
I’m assuming these people being arrested are breaking some law, and when arrested are charged and allowed due process.
If so, the analogies to the gestapo is so beyond ludicrous it’s shocking how stupid some can be.
In other news I hear trump has now allowed local police to use unmarked cars to catch people who are speeding in cars.

TL, the first thing I’d say is look at the source of your information.
Second, the threads focus is on unmarked cars and undercover but agents, as though this is something new.
I’m the first person to say at some point with the liberals expansion (Supreme Court) of the definition of eminent domain, I fully expected a federal agent to crash a bullet while evicting someone under this radical liberal takeover of land - and I’d support the individual doing it because it’s a great example of federal and state over reach on private property rights.
I’d was to explore the facts more before concluding trump is now like Hitler’s police. That’s just me though.
I’m sure the more emotional will run with it.

You should read Jeffrey dahmers defense filing. He was innocent.

The fact of the matter is multiple news outlets are covering these stories, with photos, video and first hand accounts. And this is not some random plaintiff filing a nuisance suit. This was filed by the Oregon Attorney General. That's a little more respectable than a serial killer, right? You're reaction to this, in my view, is a perfect example of media driven bias. |

You aren't there either, so what do you know? I'm basing my comments on reports and videos; hence, "don't appear." Furthermore, unless the people are looting or smashing a federal building, what are these federal law enforcement officers arresting them for? If they're enforcing state laws, then they are supposed to identify themselves and the charge they're arresting for, which by all accounts they are not doing. |
