I had a thousand pieces of evidence against the minuscule verbal scraps that you could produce. I was dousing every match you lit with a fire hose, leaving you all wet. Right after that thread, you left the forum entirely. Running away was the act of the real loser. I never left the ring, loser. You should have pointed to all that evidence, then. The world needs to know. Would have been better then just waiving your hands and whining! I left the forum in 2022, the monuments thread was started in 2020. You have a real, real, real big problem with basic facts. What a joke. If anyone is clinging to a "predetermined narrative", it's those who pull obscure, and yes, anecdotal, paragraphs from a handful of speeches and assign those tidbits as the overarching motivation and intent behind the thousands of monuments erected! Yeah, that actually is as stupid as it sounds.
All despite the fact that the message on the actual monuments refutes every word! They were bloody POLITICIANS! Think Trump's mouth 120 years ago.
Like the Declarations of Causes that you cling to, your evidence is so thin that it's becoming transparent. But keep at it; it's fun to watch leftists scurry about to try to prop up their little fantasies with tiny crumbs from history.
That's from the thread in question, and there's me pointing out that evidence. None of the Confederate monuments permanently reflected in writing or depiction any of the temporary rhetoric spewed at dedication ceremonies. Why stupidly pretend that words lost in the wind are comparable to what the monuments actually said?
And it's "waving", not "waiving". And you did disappear from the forum in 2020.

It's like Pickett's Charge, on an endless loop. Paleo hasn't figured out a 'break' statement yet. On the subject of the War Between the States, you'll always lose, and it doesn't matter if you have a half dozen behind you or not.
It takes facts to win on that subject and neither you nor TL have anything that hasn't been refuted and debunked.
Anytime you want to give it a try, boy, I'll be here.
Start another thread....the beatdown will commence.

LMAO.. You idiot.. .. You were left in a puddle bruised and bleeding on the field .. You were whining like the Black Knight in Holy Grail ..
You were down to the point that you were regurgitating the same debunked bullshit over and over .. You thought you could control the narrative by ignoring direct quotes from multiple Confederate leaders.. by ignoring official Confederate documents.. by ignoring dedications made by Confederate supporters at the opening of those memorials..
By the end of the thread you were pasted simply being a laughing stock and were full on pitied as the vile piece of shit you are . ..
Spoken like the victim of a truly brutal ass kicking. As usual, you were little more than the water boy for the losing team. Oh fucking bullshit.. I've kicked your ignorant slaver ass across 3 forums using nothing but the words from your traitorous ancestors.. Yes.. It was delightful to watch two other well informed, articulate members systemically pound facts up your loser ass .. You went down like petep on Trump's mushroom dick ..

Facts exist, you don't get to simply make them up to suit your own needs. That's funny, because making up facts is what you seem to do. And I'll admit being wrong on your departure date if you provide a link, but "I gotta go" is not the same as ceasing to participate, which you did do shortly after your loss on the Confederate Memorial thread.
Let's put this to bed, shall we. If Confederate Monuments were about white supremacy, that theme would be part of the engravings and depictions on the monuments themselves. Not a single one meets that requirement.
The rhetoric from the dedication speeches only lasted about two minutes before the wind wiped away a filthy politicians empty words. The monuments, while saying nothing about white supremacy to anyone, have been in place for over a century.
THOSE are the basic facts.

You had nothing to say when shown secession speeches, declarations & ordinances and when it came to statistical studies on when and where the monuments were built, what was on them and then finally, what was said during many of the dedication speeches, you similarly had no response. Mountains of evidence piled on our side. Nothing but hand waving & denial in response. And the entire board saw it, commented on it and moved on. Those are the basic facts that you can't escape from because we were all there and saw it and can re-read it again if we want.

The idea that I left the board in 2022 because I made some good points 2 years prior in a rando thread is dumb.
You want to know why I left? I started having my LNF friends turn on me as I developed new opinions and things got personal. That's my cue to duck out.
You were never in that club, Paleo.

The world isn't ending in 12 years. Also, the world isn't flat, to use one of your previous examples that I'm unsure how applies at all. Or is of any real concern. Does anybody of any influence worry flat earth? Is that fear mongering? Why is that a better example of fearmongering than a congresswoman saying the world is going to end in 12 years?

Yes, I agree it is. What I don't believe is real is the idea that we are being invaded, or that some hidden hand is importing immigrants to poison the blood, or that some "enemy within" is weaponizing immigration. But I agree immigration concerns have something to them that fears of fake elections, hurricane steering & microchips in vaccines don't, and by that I am referring to realism. I am just throwing flat earth in because it's funny and strangely rightwing, if statistically tiny.

Why would immigration suddenly spike to unprecedented levels immediately upon a switch from Trump to Biden? I have no firm thoughts on "invasion" or "hidden hand importing immigrants", but you can see how the trend I provided earlier would make it easy for people to believe it is deliberate, if not carefully coordinated and planned in secret. Maybe it only takes a few minor changes to how illegal immigrants are handled and discharged to change the flow of illegal immigration from a steady trickle to a flood. I would tell my fellow right wingers that a smokey backroom is completely unnecessary. But I also don't blame them, given the statistics, for thinking it is deliberate. The evidence would indicate that somebody 4 years ago really wanted to increase that flow. Do you have a better explanation?

I think the folks who believe that it is a weaponized outcome, on net, get that view from an article or video pushing the narrative. It is perfect clickbait. To answer the question of why it happened, my guess it is the intersection of 3 forces: 1) expectations of more lenient policies from the new administration 2) changes in Latin American countries themselves 3) the changes the Biden admin made to immigration policy These aren't in any particular order.

I can't disagree. But to hold that view and then be dismissive or accuse people of crazy conspiracy theories because they think it's a deliberate tactic to increase the flow of immigration I find puzzling. It's natural to see that a massive and unprecedented flood of immigration immediately upon a new administration begs people to think it's deliberate.

Oh, you poor little cock holster, you don't have a clue how roughly you've been handled, do you? You can't lie your way out of your losses or pretend that you ever had a chance, boy.

That's not an honest assessment of what happened, but I don't expect honesty from any liberal.
I have refuted the flawed, biased and perverted logic used by Northern narrative zealots like you on all of those topics. I've made these two irrefutable point that: A) If Confederate Monuments were about white supremacy, that theme would be part of the engravings and depictions on the monuments themselves. Not a single Confederate monument meets that requirement.
B) The rhetoric from the dedication speeches only lasted about two minutes before the wind wiped away a filthy politicians empty words. And what did you do in the post above? Hand waving and denial rather than addressing those points.
You can do better than that, TL. Don't be like thor and Fiddler. We already have enough leftist animals on this forum without adding another volunteer.

The idea that I left the board in 2022 because I made some good points 2 years prior in a rando thread is dumb. You want to know why I left? I started having my LNF friends turn on me as I developed new opinions and things got personal. That's my cue to duck out. You were never in that club, Paleo. Still waiting on those "good points" you claim to have made. Once again, your presentism caused you to miss the many complexities that refuted your original idea on that thread.
