Are they still making this stupid kid out to be a hero? Greg Craig, he is not a hero, but he was attacked by three people. Two are dead, and one wounded. Soooo?

Yep, this is the same willful ignorance that you display when we discuss the Civil War or those monuments to apartheid. When we discussed that subject, you lost, and it's happening again. Sorry that you are ignorant of that fact. As in that monument discussion, your illogical opinions are becoming painfully farcical. It's hard to watch. Is that how you remember it? I have a different recollection. I remember you getting shut down on point after point, over and over again. You dismissed everything which cut against your narrative, just like you dismiss the Cornerstone Speech and the various state ordinances and declarations. I don't recall a single poster finding your arguments persuasive.

You can't point a gun at people and then claim self-defense when they try to disarm you. That's nonsense. He was not pointing his gun at anyone, it started with an idiot trying to take it away, and then two other idiots joined in. Just so you all know, if you try and take someone’s gun, they are going to give you the bullets first. So smarten up.

You wish that were the case because you want to see protesters as the bad guys.

Why hasn't the racist mom been arrested for illegally buying him the gun and transporting him across state lines with the illegal gun?
Because the Connecticut Mafia said it was OK.
Ha ha ha, my Mafia grandma gave me my first real gun. I was twelve years old. It was a single barrel one shot 12Ga. Shotgun. And she told me, “Don’t point that at anyone”. I hunted until she passed away. Then no one could cook game and make it taste as good as grandma did. I never hunted again, except with a camera.

No one has the right to point guns at people and we all have the right to disarm such a threat in the name of self defense. In case you didn't already know, it *is* a threat to point a loaded gun at someone.
Not to quibble, but it's assault to point an unloaded gun at somebody, because that somebody typically has no way of knowing if the gun was loaded or not.
Also, when I took my gun safety class, it was emphasized that regardless of circumstance, if I were to fire my weapon in public, outside of a firing range, then I would be going to jail. De rigueur.
Oh oh. I will have to tell Slats he is in trouble for shooting back at that car driving by shooting at the guys.

I would hope that the mob would smarten up and go home. They are threatening and causing more people to arm themselves. My brother told me he went to buy targets at his local gun store. And he was amazed. There were always at least 60 or more pistols in the counter on display. There were only 9 left. And the gun companies are late delivering. They are almost out of stock too. And I know it is hard to get ammunition. Out of stock.

Perhaps that's what Rittenhouse was attempting to do when he brandished his weapon toward the violent protesters. Two way street, Greg. Read the NY Times article and see if the protesters even had the right to attack Rittenhouse (they attempted to murder him while he was on the ground using a skateboard). So, as a member of the jury, you have to ask yourself "If Rittenhouse had been in compliance with the law, would this have happened?" That is, if Rittenhouse had NOT willfully crossed the state line in possession of an illegal firearm, would this chain of events have occurred? Answer is no. Greg OK, let’s say crossing the state line with a gun. Not an illegal stolen one, but a gun. What is the fine or jail term for that? And can he be tried as an adult?

Same question for the morons who chased Rittenhouse down and tried to pummel him with a skateboard. The third guy shot in the arm was brandishing a pistol when he was shot.
If they had ignored Rittenhouse, instead of acting like animals, would it have happened? Two way street, Greg.
No, this incident was precipitated by Rittenhouse. If he had been in compliance with the law it would not have happened. Greg I cannot understand why you are not even more angry at the rioters. None of this would have happened, and there would not have been police hurt, property burned and destroyed. And how many other people were enjured?

People aren't out in the streets protesting for no good reason. We wouldn't be here if the state treated people as humans with dignity and worth.

You must be some kind of moron to equate a plastic bag with gunfire.

They are putting hundreds of people’s lives in danger. I am surprised more people aren’t killing them.

So your definition of self defense is to shoot to kill if someone tries to take your property?
What dictatorship did you study under?
The Cosa Nosta?

My friends and the off duty cop know what gun fire is. They didn’t have time to fire back, they dove into the doorway of the bar. Slats was on the roof of the bar, he fired back with an M1 rifle. Then jumped off the roof, got in his car and gave chase. But he lost them. That was when the black panthers were there. So guess who was shooting first.

Cause, you know, it's a deadly weapon.

Do you have any idea of how many burglars and store robbers are shot and killed by the home owners and store owners, or how many car jackers are shot, and did you ever hear of a purse snatcher getting blown away?

Oh, I get it now.
Someone was trying to steal Kyle Rittenhouse's favorite plastic bag, so he shot them dead!
Make so much more sense.
