Just talked with my sister in Cleveland. She's a postal worker. She says they've taken out several mail sorting machines and mail is stacked up everywhere. She also told me when a carrier calls in sick, no replacement is put in place to take over the route so mail just doesnt get delivered that day. The postal union is pissed. Greg Who is they Greg? Who has removed any equipment from the post offices? And why? Is it old fashioned and being replaced with more modern equipment? Who and why is the question.

The GOPP is trying to break that union while destroying the USPS in the process. Stop using FedEx or UPS. Stop paying bills online. Only use the USPS. Take a stand. EDIT: And never vote Republican. Post office 101. Why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and others so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the Post Office dumber and poorer? Should be charging MUCH MORE! — Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) December 29, 2017 Congress? Who was in charge in 2013? The Post Office's real problem is that it has tremendous fixed costs: USPS spent $6 billion on retirement benefits alone and employs nearly 640,000 workers. The Postal Service's leadership also has a limited ability to reform its operations to make ends meet. Congress and the Postal Regulatory Commission control key aspects of the services that USPS must provide and how much they can charge. In fact, the last Congress rejected a proposal to end Saturday delivery, which was proposed as a way to cut operating costs and help make the Post Office financially solvent. • Post Office Keeps Saturday Delivery Thanks to Congress ... business.time.com/2013/04/12/the-post... Apr 12, 2013 · It’s not as if Congress can’t get any postal legislation passed. According to the Courier Express and Postal Observer blog, “in each of the past five Congresses over 15% of all bills passed and signed into law named a Post Office.” And according to ABC News, the House introduced 60 bills last year to rename post offices. • Some results have been removed •

Which purpose are you referring to? Crippling the USPS just prior to the largest absentee/mail-in vote in US history ..
Either you're too damn blind to see this or you're a partisan douche ..
Lol. 1.) You obviously don't understand how the USPS operates. It does not report to the President. He was chosen by the Postal Service Board of Governors. This board is legally required to be bipartisan and apparently he was chosen unanimously. 2.) Dejoy took over in June. So of course any rapid changes would be seen and felt just prior to the November election. 3.) The USPS has been bleeding red for almost a decade. A recent GAO report stated that there needed to be massive changes to it's business model in order for it to be a sustainable quasi independent service. You tools are wrong when you when you think of the USPS as just another service provided by the federal government. It is legally required to be self sustaining. Cutting overtime, focusing on more profitable services, and trimming the fat are all normal legitimate business operations that are necessary for an organization to return to sustainable operations. www.gao.gov/products/GAO-20-3854.) Not only is the USPS addressing unprofitable service locations and overtime, it is also raising prices. about.usps.com/newsroom/national-releases/2020/0814-usps-announces-temporary-price-increase.htm5.) The USPS has not been able to meet it's legal financial obligations for years without significant government financial assistance. It was not intended to operate in such a manner. Anybody going in there with a background in business is going to clean house. The partisan douchery is happening on your end when you clearly don't understand what the fuck you are talking about.

Greg THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT AND IS NOT CONTROLLING THE POST OFFICE. For some reason this fact is having problems penetrating your thick skull. What you quoted was a basic summary. Here is what they suggested: Congress should consider reassessing and determining the (1) level of postal services the nation requires, (2) extent to which USPS should be financially self-sustaining, and (3) appropriate institutional structure for USPS. Both USPS and the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) generally concurred with the matters. Congress does not run the day to day operations, does not determine how many workers are necessary, their hours, or their schedules. Congress does not determine where mail sorter machines or mail boxes should be located. These issues are handled by the USPS. Your problem is that you don't like how the USPS is legally setup. You would prefer it to be operated directly by the federal government like a typical federal service but it's not setup that way. Your problem is Congress, not the President.

Once again Greg you are proving that you are indeed a dumbass.

Greg. Dejoy does not work for Trump. The USPS has been failing for over a decade. Of course there will be a shake up of the leadership. You fell flat on your face once again Greg because you didn't even know how the organization is intended to be run and you didn't know that the Postmaster General doesn't even work for Trump and isn't chosen by Trump. You failed because you start yapping without doing any research, just spouting partisan bullshit.

The partisan bullshit is coming mostly from Lomelissa.
She doesn't seem to know that while the president doesn't directly appoint the Postmaster General, the president appoints all the members of the Postal Service Board of Directors. Thus the current board is comprised of all Trump appointees who chose a clearly unqualified new PG whose main qualification appears to be that he's a big donor to the Trump campaign, and has zero experience with the Postal Service.
So... it's all part of Trump's effort to rig the upcoming election in his own favor.
Big Surprise.
And now, stay tuned for Lomelisssa to throw yet another Tantrump.

Lol. Trump is an evil genius that plotted for years to get his minions (democrat minions as well) in place that would put Dejoy in power right before the election and who would intentionally destroy the USPS in order to prevent mail in voting. Fucking brilliant. It's even funnier that you don't realize how dumb that is.

Do you have an answer? Greg You brought me into a conversation and commented that Lomelis and I should talk about who is running the Postal Service. I responded with a post showing that I already did that. Now you are asking a question whether Trump micro-manages the Postal Service. Now you tell me. How would anyone know that? If you believe he is then YOU need to prove it, not me or Lomelis. Oh, THAT'S easy. Let's see now. Trump publicly States multiple times that he does NOT want Americans to have the ability to vote by mail (as he does himself). THEN the postmaster General makes moves to diminish the ability of the post office to move mail thus reduce or negate vote by mail options for voters. So, you going to claim Trump is NOT micromanaging the post office? Greg
