Using ksu logic HIV/AIDS numbers are HUGELY inflated .. I am unaware of a CDC policy that lists HIV/AIDS as the cause of death when the patient hasn't been tested for HIV/AIDS. Can you provide a link to that policy?

Way to miss the point .. Individuals with HIV/AIDS can and do die from any of multiple illnesses.. Covid also has multiple means of causing death.
So that you can avoid being called out again for repeating this misinformation I suggest you read the CDC guidelines.

Our numbers are inflated. The CDC is including COVID-19 as cause of death in their provisional deaths tally if it was present at the time of death via test, presumption or probability. They also include pneumonia and flu. We've also had about 3% inflation due to false positive tests. If that number holds, roughly 147,000 people have been counted when they never had it. There have also been areas that included presumed infections where people that had been exposed are counted as COVID positive in absence of an actual test. The end result is we know quite a few people have had the virus, but we have no idea how many. There's no way to go back in time and be more accurate. www.medtechdive.com/news/fda-warns-of-false-positives-with-bd-coronavirus-diagnostic/581115/#:~:text=Dive%20Brief%3A,the%20company%20were%20false%20positives. www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/tech_notes.htm
You are over-simplifying and playing fast and loose with facts.
Your own links show that, if anything, death counts attributed to Covid-19 are likely to be under-reported. Also, that the presence of pneumonia at death is not considered to be the sole criterion for whether Covid-19 is the cause of death. In the absence of a Covid-19 lab test, that determination is made from clinical signs. Additionally, deaths from pneumonia due to influenza are not counted as Covid-19 deaths.
Nice try but yet another KStU fail.

No, you are the one missing the point. I said that the CDC is including ALL pneumonia and flu with COVID-19. For your simile to be accurate, the CDC would have to include all diseases in the HIV/AIDS count, even if the patient didn't have HIV/AIDS. Unless COVID-19 is clinically tested and proven to be present, pneumonia and flu tests should not be included in the death count.

Your lack of logic in this statement is staggering. The symptoms for pneumonia and COVID-19 can be similar. Just because they are similar, doesn't mean that pneumonia is COVID-19. Lacking a test, pneumonia deaths should not be counted. If anything, there should be a qualifier like "suspected" or "probable."

And that is a FALSE statement. Your own link clearly states that the CDC is NOT counting flu-caused pneumonia deaths as being caused by Covid-19.

I can read just fine. Can you? "Death counts in this report include laboratory confirmed COVID-19 deaths and clinically confirmed COVID-19 deaths. This includes deaths where COVID-19 is listed as a 'presumed' or 'probable' cause. Some local and state health departments only report laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 deaths."

You have a lot to learn. I believe we are the third highest population country in the world, so I don’t doubt we have many more cases than some other countries. If you compare our bad numbers to the other countries bad numbers by per million population. We look pretty good.
In countries with more than 10 million citizens, the United States is 2nd [15,674] in cases per one million behind only Chile [19,498]. So yeah, your doubts are wrong [As usual].
The last number is deaths per million, the first is the total. As of August 10, 2020. COVID-19 deaths per capita by country | Statista www.statista.com/statistics/1104709/corona... COVID-19 deaths worldwide per one million population as of August 7, 2020, by country COVID-19 cases, recoveries, deaths among most impacted countries as of August 7, 2020

Is cases per million more or less important than deaths per million population, in your opinion? We’re 8th in the world in that department using the same criteria. So, regardless of which one you prioritize, we’re way above average. Which slaps down Archie’s “doubts.” The last number is deaths per million, the first is the total. As of August 10, 2020. We have 5% of the world's population and 25% of the world's Covid cases and 25% of the world's Covid deaths.
Tell us how this is pretty good.
Answer: It's not. It's an absolute fucking failure. We’re number 1 (In how to not respond to an epidemic). We’re not pretty good, we’re the best (At failing miserably to control it). ‘Murica! The last number is deaths per million, the first is the total. As of August 10, 2020. COVID-19 deaths per capita by country | Statista www.statista.com/statistics/1104709/corona...
