I have a full beard (on my face thank you) and there is no way I could get a standard N95 mask to work properly.
I do have a full face shield with P95 filter and vapor inserts that I have used when spray painting vehicles with catalyzed urethane. It worked fine. I have considered wearing that to the market but unlike Crankshank I don't like standing out in a crowd, unless it's performance art. And I only have a few P95 filter inserts. As I understand it, P95 is like N95 but filters out oil aerosols as well as the particulates that N95 filters out.
But if I knew I was going to run into Low Mullets I would wear it.

The virus has been around for about six months. There have been around 125,000 deaths. So the U.S. is on pace for 250,000 deaths in 2020.
That still pales in comparison to deaths via heart disease or cancer.

While that may be true consider how much worse this thing looks now than it did only a few weeks ago, back when we were comparing Covid deaths to the yearly flu season. We blew past those numbers a while ago. And it would be wrong to extrapolate a mere doubling from our current situation to the end of the year. You have to consider exponential growth rates. Its not a simple doubling. There is a compounding effect that must be accounted for. We could get a lot closer to that 600k cancer number than anyone would be comfortable with.

I’m sure it’s possible. Or it could be a massive overreaction.

Thanks to selfish jerks.
You know who you are.
Meanwhile selfish jerks are so smug, refusing to mask up, so pleased that other people are dying, but not them.
Yet.
Why do you keep sharing this article from over two months ago? Queshank because he's a Troll it's how they roll

You gonna take action and help people get back to work supporting their families and saving lives? Or you gonna do like the rest of these clowns and make sure we all walk carefully around the elderly and the infirm by cheering more poverty, suicides, deaths of children around the world and "unessential workers" struggling with poverty conditions like George Floyd?

He's right in one regard that being N95 masks DO protect YOU (the wearer) where as Cloth/Surgical masks protect OTHERS in case YOU (the wearer) has it.
You're correct they are available. I have some that I bought recently.

Nothing you quoted contradicts what I said or proves your point. Cloth masks do protect from COVID-19 and that N95 mask is available in my store.

I also was unable to find any N/P95 masks. All not available.
But, at $5 to $10 a pop, I'm not sure I want one anyway. Plus, the beard thing.

And lives around the world. Are we going to save those tens if not hundreds of millions who will be sent back into crippling poverty due to shutting down the global economy? Or is the 85 year old with a heart condition more precious than a thousand 10 year olds in the developing world, because of their Exceptional Americanism? Let’s save lives, people!

How dare you question science! 🤬 Science has spoken. Don't wear masks, ok masks are ok but not necessary, masks are now necessary! Science has spoken. Millions could die, ok maybe not so much we were only a few million off, and well maybe millions more will die! Science has spoken. Omg! If you go to a rally or crowd or pool party all your grandma's going to die because of you! Hmm asymptomatic spread is rare while going to a BLM protest. Fuck we all going to die again now that those protests are going away. Time to shut shit down again! Science has spoken. If you live in a privileged western society old baby boomers will demand you sacrifice everything for them. If you question the necessity of the sacrifice you are selfish.

🤔
Oh dear it may be even worse.
Science has said for generations that we need to cover our mouth when we sneeze or cough. A simple hand in front of the mouth to help prevent the spread of germs. We've been taught that since we were children.
So they knew that from the very outset and lied about face coverings in order for "science" to protect it's scientists or the class of people deemed essential.
If you are to believe the dangers of this hoax then it would logically follow that you would want to promote the use of facial coverings right away in order to prevent the spread of infection which would have lessened the necessity of contact between the non-essential populace and the essentials. Instead of doing that "science" dictated masks were saved for the essentials...it's interesting.
I bet we will soon learn from "science" that masks also help protect the wearer of a facial covering from infection.
