I guess you seen your name. That would be the asshole whose floundering board comes here to troll. Solar was right about you. LOL Hit and run atreyu. Never seen a thread he could refute so he trolls and runs. LOL
"Trump economy sets new record! 33% drop in GDP"
Yes, I couldn't not refute that. Looks accurate to me.

You're not clever enough to pull that diversion off. Fortunately thinking people which leaves you out realize the circumstances. How did you ever get to own a mostly defunct board? No wonder it's deader than a corpse and why you are here trolling.
Oh, so you're still confused. Perhaps you can try to articulate what items you are still confused on.

You're the one confused. This is what I'm talking about. What you are blubbering about is something else called trolling. If you are still confused take a break from trolling and read the thread. Then again we know what your purpose here is...to be the useful idiot whose board is a failure and comes here to take his aggressions out.
Freon answered that question really well and then you started calling him/her names. Perhaps you missed it.
Aggression? You think I'm being aggressive?

Hooray!!! Another Trump record!!!!
The US economy contracted at a 32.9% annual rate from April through June, its worst drop on record, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said Thursday.
Business ground to a halt during the pandemic lockdown in the spring of this year, and America plunged into its first recession in 11 years, putting an end to the longest economic expansion in US history.
A recession is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of declining gross domestic product — the broadest measure of the economy. Between January and March, GDP declined by an annualized rate of 5%.

Oh isn't this marvelous. He's gonna win in a landslide with these numbers.... if there is an election that is....
Greg
Sorry, bud. There's absolutely no argument that lets the Democrats legitimately dodge responsibility for this.
Attempts to pin this on Trump ... the guy who has been saying since March 20th that we can't let the cure be worse than the disease isn't going to get blame for this by anybody except the people who blame their morning back pain on Trump.

The crash of the economy is absolutely trumP's fault.
He couldn't be trusted to handle the responsibilities which came with the Presidency.
He failed miserably in his response to Covid19, and that failure led directly to the collapse of his house of cards economy.
Anyone disputing that has no business expecting sentient beings to take that dispute seriously.
trumP was always going to fail. I just wish he hadn't been such a spectacular failure.
Apparently though, failure is the one thing at which he actually excels.
That's probably why Putin picked him.

Blaming that on Trump is idiotic especially when the people complaining about it support those policies that are going to crush the economy. Bama, if you shutdown half the businesses in California the economy is going to fucking crash. It's one of the largest economies in the world. Throw in New York, New Jersey, Michigan...done deal. Gavin Newsom crashed the economy, not Trump. "California will have a budget shortfall of $54.3 billion because of the economic devastation wrought by the coronavirus, Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration announced Thursday, a deficit so large it will swallow the state's reserves and put teacher jobs and health coverage at risk during a pandemic.
The state has been under a mandatory stay-at-home order since mid-March, forcing nonessential businesses to close and prompting more than 4 million Californians to file for unemployment benefits. After recording record low unemployment of 3.9% at the start of the year, the Newsom administration now predicts a jobless rate of 18% for the nation's most populous state — 46% higher than the height of the Great Recession a decade ago."
www.nbclosangeles.com/news/national-international/california-doom-staggering-54-billion-budget-deficit-looms/2358680/4 million unemployed. 54 billion dollar deficit. The education system on the verge of failure. Health coverage at risk for millions. Suicides, drug abuse, violent crime, hunger, poverty all massively on the rise. Millions of people more susceptible to disease and infection than ever before. No wonder California ended up having a spike in cases despite shutting every thing down and having a plan in place. All for a disease that is mostly a risk to fat asses and the very elderly. Holy shit.

All for a disease that is mostly a risk to fat asses and the very elderly. Holy shit. Can we be honest about this, if only for the purpose of this discussion? Nobody really expected trumP to be able to handle anything like this pandemic. Once it hit, he didn't disappoint. He failed miserably. Nobody else had the power or the ability to fill the vacuum left by his lack of leadership, and to make matters worse, trumP began to try and save face by disparaging and undermining anyone who seemed to have a better handle on the situation than he did, which meant that he was pretty much disparaging and undermining everybody. At that point, we all knew that he (and therefore we) were in over our heads. His grasp on the workings of our economy was no better than his grasp of the pandemic, so that was the next thing to go. He has no f'ing clue about what is going on or what to do about it. He is damaged goods. Always has been. He's a failure. Always has been. He is a demented, malignant narcissist, a racist, a sadist, a liar and a thief. He should never have been allowed anywhere near real power, but he was. Now, we are all paying the price. The epidemic will run its course here. We will continue to fail spectacularly in any attempts to control it. By the time it is over, if it ever is, the actual death toll might well be in the millions. You can disparage the victims all you want. But doing so doesn't make you right. Rather, it makes you look cruel and clueless. People are dying because of trumP. The virus is killing them, but trumP is doing everything to make matters worse. And again, even Putin has to be shocked by trumP's spectacular failure. He could not have possibly expected this kind of return on his investment.

Looks like we got the worst of both worlds. We lacked the commitment to have a real nationwide quarantine to contain the disease and isolate ourselves from people coming into the country to spread the disease without quarantining and we suffered a major recession.
So, now we have a disease that is out of control and major economic downslide. Trump lacked the cojones to make any major decisions on the virus when it mattered the most, instead being content to be a self-proclaimed "cheerleader" that "takes no responsibility."
AWESOME!

You libs are so disingenuous.
When Obama struggled with the economy, you said he inherited it from Bush.
When Obama proclaimed the new normal, you agreed with him.
When the economy got better under Trump, you gave the credit to Obama.
And now that the virus has wrecked the economy (which is what you guys were hoping for), suddenly it’s the Trump economy.
The irony here is that you libs squawk about Trump’s lies, but your level of dishonesty is just as bad, if not worse.

1. Obama did inherit it from Bush. The Great Recession started in December 2007 and was peaking around the time Obama entered office.
2. We would love to have Obama's "new normal" right about now. 2-3% GDP sounds a hell of a lot better than -5% and -32.9%.
3. Trump has been taking credit for the economy ever since he entered office. Riding the trends isn't all that admirable but he had already made a huge dent in future economic growth and an escalation of federal spending long before the virus hit.

No, the problem is that you and yours are so easily brainwashed. trumP has always taken credit for other people's accomplishments while taking no responsibility for his own never ending, serial failures. President Obama presided over the restoration of our terrible economy. He didn't do it in the way that I would have wanted. He didn't hold those accountable who had trashed it in the first place. Too few were restored, too many remained harmed. Too many of the gains of the so-called recovery went to the very people who had benefited the most from trashing the old economy. That is not in dispute, or at least not by me. But President Obama did inherit the crash. It was waiting for him on the front doorstep of the White House on his inauguration day. trumP came in and immediately took credit for all the work President Obama had done, wiping his feet on President Obama and his legacy as he was entering that same edifice, because that is what trumP's racist base were paying to see. They wanted retribution for the very act of the rest of us putting a half black guy in their previously All White House. trumP has been working dutifully on the destruction of POTUS Obama's legacy from that day forward. It's pretty much all he does. You are part of that base. You are a racist. You are a reactionary. Deny it if you want to, but you are part of trumP's target audience. The Celebrity Apprentice Goes to Washingtonhas all been produced for and directed at you. It is a show. It is a farce. It is a failure. But evidently, it is what you will pay to see. I repeat, you and yours are the problem.
