Walmarts are large spaces with good HVAC, so customer outbreaks don't seem to be a thing. They're probably understaffed and mostly separated from one another (except on breaks, cooler crew convos, etc..), even before social distancing measures were ever enacted. Is this somehow supposed to prove masks are merely placebos? Crowded spaces over time is where transmission happens. Think bars and restaurants, which masks don't work in anyways as they're off. Not exactly. The local Walmart has been shut down for at least a week. When last I went by, there were hazmat trucks that looked like they were cleaning out the HVAC equipment at the back of the building.
The other day I went to another Walmart and it was jammed packed with shoppers clogging aisles with their carts along with workers trying to restock shelves, so that social distancing was impossible. On top of that, Walmart had locked up such valuables as soap and shampoo so you had to flag down a worker to open the glass case doors so you could view the product up close and perhaps actually purchase it.
After that experience I decided Walmart No Mo. I was speaking more about the aggregate. The vast majority of Walmarts are open, have been open, essential! even, from Day 1. Yes, there've been outbreaks and yes, there'll be more...my point being that Walmart stores do not provide the shared air and time required for mass transmission that a small bar or restaurant would provide. Anecdotal examples aside. |

One of them died - CNN - July 12, 2020This teacher is being heralded as a martyr and her death was used on NPR here in California as justification for California teachers to keep schools closed. How the hell does this escape everyone, including the school system that encouraged/allowed this woman to believe society had been bubble wrapped for her protection?
She was 61 years old. AND "... was prone to sinus infections, and also had asthma, diabetes and lupus."
How could she have contracted this? She was wearing her placebo!!!1!?1!1! All three teachers wore masks and gloves, used hand sanitizer and socially distanced, but still got sick, according to school officials at the small community in the eastern part of the state.
The Chinese peasantry programming is so strong, it even has teachers believing it.
Let's talk about the fact that half of the deaths in the United States are *still* occurring in nursing homes. Our new hot spot in Florida? Half the deaths are nursing homes. Again.
Roughly 2,550 long-term care residents and staff have died overall, accounting for about 45% of all virus deaths in Florida.
But you all want to talk about masks. Repeatedly. Ad nauseum. And still try to send out messages that society has been bubble wrapped for the unhealthy's safety. It's a distraction. Not least of reasons being because masks are a placebo.
Here's a dirty little secret the Chinese peasants aren't paying much attention to. We here in the states wear masks at nearly a higher rate than any other Western country.
You can skip over the fact that Mediaite is a leftist rag and the goal of that article is to shit on Trump supporters. 84% wearing masks. How's that workin' out? How could we be leading the world in "cases?"
It found that in late April in the UK around 25% of people wore face masks or coverings in public places. This is staggeringly low compared to 83.4% in Italy and 63.8% in Spain in the same period.
What the fuck are you doing wasting time and energy on masks? Besides killing more people by fooling the elderly and the obese into thinking they're safe?

Still higher than other countries that are doing better than us.
