*cough* Walmart. *cough cough*

Well you done fucked up if you believe there hasn't been outbreaks at walmart. With one simple sentence you proved mask wearers correct.
My local Walmart has been shut down for weeks now. Last time I drove by, at the rear there were hazmat trucks that looked to be decontaminating the air handling system.

What's with the Chinese Peasantry trope?
Is it a 'woke' libertarian thing?

Sounds like an employee caught the virus. Probably at one of those coronavirus parties.
My wife's work closed down one of their branches for two weeks too. All because one of the workers was in an area where someone *might* have had the virus. Everyone tested negative tho so after 2 weeks they just opened back up.

I'm too single payer to be a libertarian. They won't let me in their club.
It's an observation on the nature of leftists. Don't tell me you haven't noticed.

Ah. I seem to remember you as a libertarian type. My bad. It isn't a good observation. It's the nature of extremes, thus it isn't a left/right thing at all. Using the term 'leftist' as a snarl word is silly because what passes for a Left-wing party (The Dems) in the US would be moderate to conservative just about anywhere else. Ain't no public ownership of the means of production in their platform of which I am aware. THAT, is 'leftist'.

Of course it's not a left/right thing. There's a lot of Chinese peasants on the left right too. [whoops Freudian slip]
But we're speaking in context of the United States here. Specifically in a thread on masks.
So the right isn't really a part of this conversation.
Neither are the left "anywhere else."
The Dems are not the left.

Days after announcing customers are required to wear face masks while shopping in their stores, major U.S. retailers appear to be showing leniency in how the rules are enforced.

I see you edited your post to provide data points. Good for you!
Let's explore them and see whether they bolster your case or mine.
A total of 21 Walmart workers are now known to have tested positive for the infection, the Chelan-Douglas Health District said today. The confirmation follows allegations from employees, reported by NCWLIFE on Tuesday, that 17 workers had tested positive there.
****
Store workers, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of reprisal, told NCWLIFE the Walmart policy of requiring mask use by employees was not observed on some teams, notably the overnight crews in charge of receiving inventory and stocking shelves before the store opens to receive customers each day.
Hmm. No. That one doesn't meet the bar. Walmart wasn't the origin point of an outbreak in the community. Nobody traced customer infections back to this Walmart. It was workers working in close proximity day after day that got sick.
#1 bolsters my point. Thanks.
Two employees at Hobby Lobby and three at Walmart tested positive for COVID-19, according to new outbreak data released by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Wednesday and verified by the Coloradoan.
****
Walmart's Distribution Center in Loveland had an outbreak of COVID-19 early in the pandemic, with 33 positive and probable cases among employees there. That outbreak has been resolved, according to the health department.
Hmm. No. That one doesn't meet the bar either. Walmart wasn't the origin point of an outbreak in the community. Neither was Hobby Lobby. Nobody traced customer infections back to these stores. It was workers working in close proximity day after day that got sick.
#2 also bolsters my point. Thanks.
The deceased have been identified as a 72-year-old female employee; her 63-year-old husband, who did not work at the store; and a 69-year-old male who worked for an independent security company.
Again. Doesn't seem to meet the bar either. Although it's close. The only people referenced as having gotten sick are employees at the store. And one of the husbands ... who we can assume was also in close proximity to the employee who died day after day. They reference 11 other "cases" but don't specify whether they're employees (working in close proximity to each other day after day after day) or customers. The only reference to customers is "customers complaining about no social distancing and mask wearing." #3 does bolster my point, but since it's so lacking in data, I'll call that one a draw and give you equal credit, k? 4- www.bostonglobe.com/2020/05/05/business/how-walmart-worcester-became-coronavirus-hot-spot/
This is behind a paywall. But what I *can* see of the article says:
81 workers at the store have contracted the virus
Again. A story about workers working in close proximity to each other day after day. Bolstering my point yet again. Thanks.
Maybe you need some help with understanding this thread atreyu. Here's the question in my OP again:
Want to take another stab at it?

So much for the opinion of one of Putin's most treasured bots.
It even reads like it was translated from Russian.
Here you go!: Маски. Queshank

Masks. I won't re litigate all the old bullshit so you guys have to plug your ears and say "la la la la" and go back to knitting your cloth masks that used to be seized from you for front line healthcare workers until one day front line healthcare workers just didn't need your knitted cloth masks anymore. One constant throughout this entire pandemic has been Walmart. One of the busiest and most packed stores on any given day that ends in Y even before the shutdowns turned them into the only game in town.
At what point did you give up trying to understand the science that has indicated since day one that it is prolonged, close contact that spreads the Wuhan Flu? Was it before or after journalists and Democrats politicized mask wearing? Queshank
Walmarts are large spaces with good HVAC, so customer outbreaks don't seem to be a thing. They're probably understaffed and mostly separated from one another (except on breaks, cooler crew convos, etc..), even before social distancing measures were ever enacted. Is this somehow supposed to prove masks are merely placebos? Crowded spaces over time is where transmission happens. Think bars and restaurants, which masks don't work in anyways as they're off.

Not exactly.
The local Walmart has been shut down for at least a week. When last I went by, there were hazmat trucks that looked like they were cleaning out the HVAC equipment at the back of the building.
The other day I went to another Walmart and it was jammed packed with shoppers clogging aisles with their carts along with workers trying to restock shelves, so that social distancing was impossible. On top of that, Walmart had locked up such valuables as soap and shampoo so you had to flag down a worker to open the glass case doors so you could view the product up close and perhaps actually purchase it.
After that experience I decided Walmart No Mo.

I like how the cons think we actually have contact tracing. They want data on something Trump is intentionally blocking.
If you think it hasn't spread from walmarts, well, I have a bridge to sell ya.
