We don't talk much, so I don't read your posts much. In that same post telling me to pay more attention to you, you could have simply answered the question. Freon You have asked me this question of me multiple times, and I've answered it.
But just to reiterate one more time. No, I don't support Trump. I have voted against him 5 times: 2 times in primary elections, and 3 times in general elections.
Bookmark this so you won't have to ask again.
You say this knowing full well he's going to accuse you of being a Trump supporter next week. Queshank

Now what would be the fun of that? Reiterating positions should not be seen as inconvenient, unless your view is that no positions are ever possible to change. How pessimistic and cynical. That's not how I am, so I will continue to ask. Freon

Freon It's not about giving him props/credit for certain actions he might take. It's that he advocates and takes positions that I fundamentally, philosophically disagree with (as well as some nonpolitical issues).
As such, I have never voted for the man.

Given I don't believe a word out of his mouth, his positions are rhetoric to get votes, nothing more. He will say ANYTHING to get votes. What he does, is what we will see, and that is one of the chief arguments the righties say to do. They say don't listen to him, see what he does. And so I will. This boils down to being rigid in views, vs actually keeping an open mind. Which are you? Freon

Those Jan 6 insurrectionists, even though found guilty of breaking our laws, will be set free. They will NOT be found innocent. They will simply be let free, even though they are guilty of crime, because a criminal now is in charge. It will not stop there. If he will set them free, he cares more for loyalty than for the law. And that means that YOU care about loyalty over the law. A step closer to fascism, exactly as we've been saying. Freon Please list those who were charged with insurrection for their actions on January 6th. I'll wait.

No. I'm a classical liberal; I believe in free trade. That's a philosophical position that aligns with my other beliefs; it's part of the whole. I'll take that to my grave; put Mare Liberum on my tombstone.
I will keep an open mind on foreign policy and wait to see who he appoints in his cabinet. So far, not really liking what I see, but in his first term, he did negotiate our withdrawal from Afghanistan, attempted to withdraw from Syria, and attempted to start a dialogue with North Korea (all hampered by his appointees). On the debit side, his "maximum pressure" campaigns on Iran and Venezuela, vetoing the Yemen War Powers resolution, and other things I've discussed here.

Freon You're allergic to context, aren't you? Someone who jaywalks is a "convicted criminal". Alexei Navalny was a "convicted criminal". Many Patriots in the American Revolution were "convicted criminals". And pardons aren't usually issued to innocent bystanders.
The book was thrown at people who were charged was nothing more than trespassing. A grandmother who hurt no one, damaged nothing and spent minutes in the Capitol was jailed.
To correct the government's abuse of the justice system, to crush to idea of jailing political prisoners like a banana republic and to send a message to the left that weaponization will not be tolerated, every non-violent J6 protester should be pardoned.

/eyeroll Speaking of pissing on legs.
We're talking about crime ... you set the context ... and you try to slip in a "violent crime" change of topic.
You really are a Democrat through and through ain'tcha?

It takes some kind of imbecile to sugarcoat "crapping on desks" as "being patriotic". You wanted me to point to one of your deceptions, dumbass. Well, there's a doozie in this post of yours. Patriotic my ass, idiot!

Wait wait... I think I know why Paleocon would defend this behavior. He wishes someone would break in and shit on his desk. Apparently that's his kink.
He's likes it, so it should be legal. That's the simple thinking we're dealing with here.

I appreciate your sharing your perspective. Question. Do you still believe the polls, considering this last cycle? Freon
Here is the Real Clear Politics poll average and who won each state:
Arizona, RCP: Trump +2.8, Trump won Nevada, RCP: Trump +0.6, Trump won Wisconsin, RCP: Harris +0.4, Trump won (but this one was pretty close down to the wire) Michigan, RCP: Harris +0.5, Trump won (also close down to the wire) Pennsylvania, RCP: Trump +0.4, Trump won North Carolina, RCP: Trump +1.2, Trump won Georgia, RCP: Trump +1.3, Trump won
In every state where Trump had the polling average advantage, he won. And the two where he didn't were basically toss ups; as were some of the state's he won - this was a really close election (Trump won by narrow margins in Wisconsin and Michigan).
So, once again, the state polling was pretty on point.
And just to look back, here is my post to you about Trump flipping Arizona and probably Pennsylvania and Georgia. (I was wrong that the EC results would be narrower than 2020).
I will say that Selzer embarrassed themselves in Iowa.
