The fbi states that almost 75 percent of the massive 18th street gang are illegals. Are those the “immigrants” we want since we know use that euphemism for illegals. You seem to have an affinity for the motte and bailey. Getting you to stick to a single claim is difficult, if not outright impossible. The point is claiming all these illegals pouring across is “good” is stupid. When this is pointed out the pushback by you morons is “oh, so you are against immigrants?” What??? We have no idea who they are? It shows complete and utter incompetence by the feds. It’s shows we are not a country with law and order. And this is all so far from the thread. The real issue here is why is Obama making black males feel like they should be slaves to color.

As to illegal immigration, you guys don't get to complain about that after Trump killed a bi-partisan agreement that conservatives and the BP agreed was a huge win. Trump and the RW media are playing politics with immigration.

Did nothing to change policy Don’t you find it on the border Union supports trump? Can you think through that.

No. It’s not. I’m sick of hearing “more immigrants = better” Maybe. Maybe not. It’s akin to saying more employees is always better. Maybe. Maybe not. The right emoloyees under the right conditions is better. "We should empty all the world’s prisons and have them come here then right?" ^ Straw-man on stilts. No one has ever defended this silly idea, let alone me. And yes, more immigrants = better economic outcomes.
LOL.. If p ever runs out of straw .. he'll simply go dark ..

Now do the Border Patrol supporting the bill that Trump tanked.

As to illegal immigration, you guys don't get to complain about that after Trump killed a bi-partisan agreement that conservatives and the BP agreed was a huge win. Trump and the RW media are playing politics with immigration. I'm sure there are some that believe this. Even after Kamala Harris's 60 Minutes interview, where it was clearly illustrated how backwards this is. I don't believe you believe this, even as I appreciate your efforts at marketing. Immigration exploded like the day Biden-Harris took over. It was an extraordinary, unprecedented rise. And for 3 years, it continued unabated. And suddenly, in an election year, a bullshit bill is presented to "fix" it. That's playing politics. Why the increase? How were all previous administrations able to keep immigration significantly lower without a new bill? Because the power is already there. "BUT CONSERVATIVES SUPPORTED IT!!!" Sure. A lot of conservatives benefit from illegal immigration as well. "BUT BORDER CONTROL SUPPORTED IT!!!" You're telling me that a bureaucracy supported more funding for the bureaucracy? Whoa. And now immigration is being curtailed to some extent. How? Didn't they need Congress to act, and Trump stopped it? Sounds like it's blatantly obvious that Biden-Harris could have taken efforts to curb illegal immigration before this year. Obviously. I mean, obviously. OH NO THOSE POLITICS-PLAYING REPUBLICANS AREN'T FIXING THE IMMIGRATION PROBLEM! Lmao.

If you break the data out month by month you'll see the trend started coming down earlier this year when GOP messaging was that we were being invaded. There was even a rally held for MAGA "at the border" but they set it up about 25 miles off the border to hide the fact that it wasn't really a crisis after all. The democrats have been very critical of the Biden admin for keeping a lot of the immigration policy from the previous admin on the books, and for separating families, albeit at a lower rate. I don't know which policies he could have added that would have meaningfully changed the situation, beyond what they were already doing, unless congress added funding, etc. I know part of the improvement we see in crossing data is seasonal, every year there is a spike around the holidays. I do believe Trump killed a bill that respectable people said would have made the situation better and I believe he did it for political reasons.

I don't know why a MAGA rally 25 miles from the border is important here. Harris is taking credit for the drop in immigration this year. Is she wrong to do so? Is she lying? I agree that Democrat politicians have been critical of Biden for being more restrictive with asylum and immigration that they want him to be. www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/77-democrats-criticize-biden-border-asylum-policy-rcna67617I genuinely don't even think we're having the same conversation here. I think you're trying to jump in but with the notion that the politicians should be doing more to help more people into the country. That's not where the American population is at right now. Maybe I'm misuderstanding.

But I don't think your view of "fixing it" is aligned with a majority of Americans or a large majority of Republican or independent Americans. So it leads to talking past one another. Are there plenty of Republican politicians who would more align with your notion of "fixing" the immigration issue? I think so. But not regular Americans. They aren't looking for solving illegal immigration by making more illegal immigrants into legal immigrants or citizens.

Oh I don't know about that because my view is simply that the bill was an improvement. And I do believe the bill was squarely within the mainstream. I have no illusions about how unpopular immigration is with the American people, left and right.

I think the biggest threat to SS is a declining population to support the system for future retirees. Which is the bigger defender of a declining population? Queshank
Who is a bigger defender of increasing middle class wages.. ?
Not the people who are insisting on raising lower class wages, thus eroding the purchasing power of the middle class.
What happens to the purchasing power of people currently making $20 an hour when high school students currently making $10 an hour start making $15 an hour? Everyone talks about increasing wages in the abstract and ignores the ripple effects.
