Why does the left never address a point. Simply they changed the rules because of x. You claim it had to be done but no more votes were cast. Well ok fine, let’s say it had to be done due to covid. As far as votes cast we know the numbers so u may need to backpedal there. Now x is not a factor and they refuse to go back to the rules because they claim reverting back will drastically suppress minority voters. So it either had no impact or it did. Or what’s your new argument, it had no impact in 2020 but in 2024 it will. Pick. Funny, voting by mail was never a big deal when it was mostly old people and military personnel doing it. Especially when numerous people in the Trump Administration [Including Trump himself] have voted by mail before.
But the minute it's minorities and college students getting the same opportunity, it's outrageous. With a bunch of made-up "voter fraud" conspiracy theories attached to it.
Your response is why no one trusts the left Prior to Covid you had to cite a reason for why you could not vote in person. There was a list / checkbox of acceptable reasons, such as overseas military - and you had to provide proof. If it was other you needed proof of your explanation. Then you had to sign ur ballot. Have a witness and a notary. The dems in some states changed that to no reason and just your signature. That’s it. The repubs want to go back to the pre covid way. And now the dems are screaming it’s voter suppression meant to suppress democrat voters. But when they enacted to covid as an excuse rules they said the change had no impact on the outcome. Modifying the way voting is done during a national health emergency does in no way change who is on the voter rolls or who can vote.
