All of the momentum is on the Establocrats side. The narratives being set. Abortion.
Ukraine (Biden is wagging that dog holy shit!) The success of Establocrat lawfare maneuverings Heat domes and climate change
What does Trump have going for him?
Add to this that media will turn a blind eye to Trumplican observers being locked out of ballot counting ... and will be heralded as champions of democracy in doing so by 50% of the country. (What would YOU do to stop Hitler?)
For you atreyu ... I used to argue that "IF RON DESANTIS IS SMART ... he will stay out of the 2024 election cycle." I kinda knew and used to argue on the boards that it was his wife that was the smart one. She was the voice in Ronald's most successful campaign ads. And it's because DeSantis and any other GOP candidate would face the same maneuvers and the same obstacles to victory. DeSantis is now done politically ... unless Trump saves him ... because he went all in on MAGA as a cheap imitation in an ill fitting suit.
In 2020 election laws were unilaterally and undemocratically modified to benefit Democratic candidates. None of that has been rectified now that the "emergency" is over.
The campaign cycle hasn't even started yet. And the two are neck and neck. Trump has nowhere to go but down as the ... (/nod RP) ... institutions ... go to work to preserve the status quo.
Trump's pretty good at shifting narratives. But ... the narratives need to shift for people who don't pay attention to politics. Not for people who do.

The excuses start. Throw out a prediction of failure so you can point to that later and talk about how superior your prognostication skills are, or if Trump wins you will spew out all your usual talking points as you lecture people on the how and why. The best part is your dabbling in 2020 stolen election/unfair games. Maybe Trump will dodge the debate? I see the excuses already being generated.

Q ball fell for the "they changed the laws illegally" bullshit. As if ONLY Democrats voted in that election in those states. These cultists are so gullible it's truly amazing. Modifying the way voting is done during a national health emergency does in no way change who is on the voter rolls or who can vote. Trying to make it easier to vote has somehow become a suspicious thing in the eyes of the gullible and paranoid. Hilarious. Hey, nutjobs, go and try to vote somewhere you're not on the voter rolls for that oounty and see what happens. Mark Meadows and his wife did that. But they're special.

If Trump dodges the debate, that would be extremely interesting.
I would hope however that it greatly reduces his capability of winning the subsequent election.
Do you have any examples of the excuses for Trump to dodge the debate?

Donny will do much better than Hitler. Almost any candidate would.
DeStoopid is a young nutjob. He has plenty of time to shift gears to whatever he thinks will help him. This time he started off on his no woke for me shtick and when that didn't take off he pretty much dropped it.

Lot's actually! He's a convicted felon. He tried to steal the 2020 election. His cabinet members from his prior admin think he's a danger or simply can't stand him. His former VP won't endorse him. He's the most effective demagogue in the United States in a generation. He successfully channels all the racist undercurrents in our society and he thrives off division. He is loved by authoritarian leaders everywhere. He believes he is above the law, and so do his followers. He is completely in it for himself with nary a whiff of service or sacrifice to cross his mind or lips. You really couldn't ask for more, but that's honestly just a taste!

Jesus Christ there isn't an eyeroll emoji big enough to truly capture the spirit of how my eyes rolled on reading this horse shit.
Did you accidentally stumble on a political discussion forum on your way to your evening porn sites ... Dave? Did you get sidetracked on your way to checking out more things "even animals won't do?" Do you even know what political "discussion" is? You've been turding up the boards for like 8 years and I've yet to see you possess the courage of your convictions and actually engage in any discussions.
I get you're a bitter, lonely, sickly old man that's alienated everyone in his life and now lives alone and is going to die alone. But it ain't my fault my dude. I'm just one of the many you drove away.
It's as obvious as the day is long I'm trying to get some of the "righties" on the board to make their best case for how Trump can win the 2024 elections. You've spent your entire adult life pretending at intelligence you don't possess. Well, "the test of a first rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind, and still retain the ability to function." Give it a shot. Prove you're not the pretender I've always known you to be while I bite my lip when you preach stupidity, and look at the world the way half the country does and see if you can figure out how Republicans can win the 2024 elections in the face of the headwinds opposing them.
And btw .. my bet is on Biden saying "I'm not debating a criminal. He shouldn't even be running" and dodging the debates. The excuses and rhetoric have been piling up in the media for days that will get the nitwits to cheer this as the right move.

After 8 years of watching it it doesn't surprise me anymore. But the disgust grows. And that disgust sure helps me understand why the right hates you so much they'd pick up arms and kill you rather than let you win. You dehumanized yourself ffs.

I suggest you get involved in limey's thread on social media and the hysterias being whipped up on that front.
Are you arguing that the narrative isn't picking up steam as it becomes a current topic again with news outlets discussing it and the Surgeon General issuing a warning that I'm hearing on every news channel about how it "hasn't been proven safe" (jfc what bizarre science that is.) And now the governor of New York just yesterday making it a centerpiece of the campaign cycle?
The Establocrats are throwing everything they've got at it this year.
Can you challenge any of my points? Or are you content resting on the bottom eating the shit with the rest of the bottom feeders? At least you keep the tank clean.

I don’t doubt that it will be Biden that will not show up for the debate. What will happen is that all of a sudden he has some bad medical problem and not be able to attend. He might be sick or fall down and be hurt. And the debate will be cancelled. Can you believe that?

The democrats did change the voting rules in some states to undo most every one of the rules for voting by mail. The excuse was it had to be done due to covid. Ok. Then after Biden won, the democrats and media went all in to state the changes in voting laws had no impact on the outcome. Ok. Could be debated but ok. Then republicans try to revert back to the pre covid rules. Ok. Democrats respond by saying so we have to keep the covid era rules because a change will drastically suppress the minority vote. What??? So which is it. It had no impact or a measureable impact.
