Modifying the way voting is done during a national health emergency does in no way change who is on the voter rolls or who can vote. The democrats did change the voting rules in some states to undo most every one of the rules for voting by mail. The excuse was it had to be done due to covid. Ok. Then after Biden won, the democrats and media went all in to state the changes in voting laws had no impact on the outcome. Ok. Could be debated but ok. Then republicans try to revert back to the pre covid rules. Ok. Democrats respond by saying so we have to keep the covid era rules because a change will drastically suppress the minority vote. What??? So which is it. It had no impact or a measureable impact. I've already explained why the right wing whine about "waaaah, they changed the rules" is completely irrelevant. For one thing, it was done because of a national medical emergency situation and was a common sense thing to do. Many people didn't want to gather in closed spaces in close proximity to others during the covid pandemic. And secondly, NO ONE who was not already on the existing voter rolls (before "they changed the rules") voted OR WAS EVEN ABLE TO VOTE because "they changed the rules." So the fact stands that NO additional votes were cast for ANYBODY because of minor changes to mail ballots or anything else. It's just more fear mongering and whining from right wingers. Q ball has already shown he can't grasp this simple concept. You may be more successful. Changing mail ballot proccedures in no way caused any voter fraud. That is a total myth. You register to vote ni the county you live in. When you register to vote, you are listed on the voter roll for your county. Whether you vote by mail, in person, or not at all DOES NOT MAKE ANY GODDAMN DIFFERENCE. Any changing of procedures about how votes are to be cast DOES NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO VOTE WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO.
