Id give the left credit for science, and right credit for history. The right uses to much God in science. The left use to much propaganda with missing parts in history. History has been written by the “winners”. History has been rewritten as the “winners” changed. The time I pulled away from Christianity was when the right/GOP, my party, started with the horrendous lie that the Democrats were godless, etc. You know, like Trump saying if Jewish people voted Democrat they didn’t love Israel and needed a talking to. That is about the dirtiest thing between political parties ever. So, you left Christianity because the right/GOP lied about Democrats being godless? Isn't that just playing right into the lie? LOL

Yes, the 2020 election turned out very strange. The majority of the country was working and enjoying life. Most people were working full time jobs and even overtime. The whole country was doing well. And no countries were getting away with ripping off our tax money or tariffs or daring to threaten us. We were energy independent and our illegal border crossing was being controlled much better than now. And if Trump was president now, that wall would be finished. And any new migrants coming now would have to pass our immigration laws like my ancestors did, and become good citizens. It is very unpleasant to think the majority of the voters had a reason to vote democrat. I have to believe that the socialist party somehow rigged the ballots. Also some of the modern voting machines that counted the ballots, would someone have rigged them? No, I do not believe that Biden that spent a little time out speaking to the people like Trump did attracted that many voters. Even today, look at the Trump rallies. Compare them to Joe Biden’s. It was the same then as now. Only Biden is not hiding in his cellar. I wouldn't go so far as to say that no other countries were ripping us off with tariffs because China did exactly that. You recall the tariffs the Trump admin imposed on China and China responded, as you do, with tariffs of their own. Agriculture took the brunt of it and the 28 billion dollar farm bailout was widely reported on. But I will cede that the Trump economy was pretty good. That's common whenever it is government policy is to spend money into the economy while also cutting taxes, making up the difference with more debt and bank credit inflation. Take a look at the US debt, & let me know how you feel this voodoo economic policy has been working out for us! I'm not sure you can say that Trump would be better on immigration than Biden. We saw a grand bargain on the table which would have moved us a lot closer to your vision on immigration and Trump killed it. You can bet that's going to be exploited in the coming campaign. On the notion that you're surprised people felt compelled to vote Democratic, I can only say that's a failure of imagination. For we know there are many people who feel that way about Trump. I don't buy the argument that you can say Biden couldn't have won more votes than Trump because of how big Trump's rallies are. Here's the problem with that line of thinking: the Democrats aren't as excited by Biden as they are scared of Trump and the GOP. With MAGA, flip that and turn it around. MAGA is more excited by Trump himself than they are opposed to the Democrats getting elected. And that difference in enthusiasm translates into differences in how the campaigns reach out to voters. Biden can't fill a rally every other month and without Trump he probably wouldn't be a contender in US politics. Not anymore. But with Trump in the race, Biden is all you have. So you vote. And people did. Many did. And you're probably going to see that happen again specifically because of Roe. Why would anyone fear Trump?

Perhaps they believe he won't be good for the working class (Trump says unions no good, SS no good, women's autonomy no good, government in general no good, but tax cuts good) and because they see him as a threat to the constitution and the idea of the republic itself. Anyone who doesn't support the peaceful transfer of power and the states picking their own electors, can't support the republic. They couldn't be a patriot. One can either fear Trumpism out of pure self-interest, or out of patriotism and love for country.

Just when you thought it was safe to be a mindless conformist, I burst your bubble. Anti-conformity can also be conformity. It's just a different tribe. Look at the punk uniform. So edgy and individualistic. Yet all those individuals look the same. And the same is true of pseudo-science. One kind of nuttery leads to the next and before one knows it, they've become a character of sorts. Wow, interesting. Doesn't change the fact that you are a zealous conformist, ready to ridicule anyone that doesn't agree with you on what topics are "settled".
And your brand of pseudo-science is easily reduced to the propaganda that it has always been. Give it a try and I'll show you.

Sorry, Freon, but no one is buying your pretended superiority. The states of matter are correct. It's funny how you make these pompous proclamations of how "educated" you are, yet you can't support that arrogance by simply referencing a scientific source for your little theory that everything is a liquid no matter what we call it.
But I must give you credit. You don't dare post sources because you might find out that, not only do we understand what you claim that we're too uneducated to know, we understand it all better than you do.
The floor is yours....source your idea that everything is liquid.
Why is it so hard to believe that I know more about science than you? Do you really believe that someone trained in science is just slightly more knowledgeable than someone with access to the Internet? And I am not superior to you. More knowledgeable? Yes. But if you studied what I did, you would have it too. It's not secret, or difficult to obtain. Anyone can have it. But you will not find it for free on the Internet. Freon It's hard to believe that you have more knowledge when you never demonstrate that allegedly superior knowledge here. You brag about it, you're arrogant and haughty about it, but you never seem to deliver anything concrete to show that your words are not just rodomontade.
But please, by all means, prove me wrong and show us the error of your ways.

More greatest hits from token Representative Sheila Jackson Lee:
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D., Texas) declared the U.S. Constitution to be 400 years old Wednesday on the House floor, which would mean it was signed in 1614.
"Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not," she said.
"I held an AR-15 in my hand. I wish I hadn't. It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving. And the bullet that is utilized, a .50 caliber, these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street."
"Today, we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working," she said. "We may not agree with all that North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace.
In 1997, Jackson Lee asked a NASA scientist if the Mars Pathfinder had photographed the flag that Neil Armstrong had planted on the moon.
This is the "quality" that you get when skin color is the primary reason for voting.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. I feel no need to prove myself to you, because I'm not bothered that your education is so low, you can't tell when you are talking to the genuine article or not. I'm here to understand the world from your perspective, Paleo, and what you are telling me is that you have no clue who to trust, in terms of understanding the world. Which explains why you have no problem trusting your news, or Donald, or some other source that has no training. Prior to my higher education, I was exactly where you are, and just accepted what was said to me, by what seemed credible sources. Except I changed. I began to KNOW how the physical world operated, that there really was NO octane in gasoline at all. Not a drop. That what the news was telling me (all news, not just yours), was such an oversimplification of the ACTUAL science, one COULD call it a lie. Basically, you live with the scientific knowledge of the 1950s. And it is 2024. You are WAY out of date. Back then, DNA had just been identified, the chromosomes were just being understood (they still fully aren't), and a HUGE error was made in telling the public that a Y chromosome held all their was to being a man. That's just false. But that's what you learned, it's relatively easy to understand, and you hold it to your bosom as the gospel, even though we know WAY more about what genes actually confer the necessary male contribution to reproduction, and it is significantly in excess of that Y chromosome. One thing is VERY clear from evolution, and you're not going to like it. Men evolved from women. That's why men have non-functional nipples, for instance. The original design, women, had nipples for mammary gland milk dissemination, but men do not perform this function, so rather than eliminate them, nature has the genes in both men and women, and simply disables the mammary function in men. In this sense, the Y chromosome is sort of a 'broken' or 'scaled-back' X chromosome, disabling female traits that men do not need. Not very male-friendly way of looking at it, eh? Yet if you actually cared about the truth of what we are, and how we came to be, the evidence of our biology reveals the truth. You just have to be curious enough to find out, but you'd rather live with the fantasy that men are all tough and macho, and women, dainty and dependent, PURELY because it makes you feel good and allows you to justify your power. I think that's pathetic. Freon

I asked you a simple and straightforward question and you refused to defend what you claimed earlier that everything is really "liquid". You make these alleged scientific claims that you can't seem to back up at all. So, according to you, in the original "design" (intelligent design?), men allegedly came from women because...nipples. So, in your little evolutionary fantasy, it was just strong women in the beginning and they just survived as a species because they decided not to die before they could transmogrify into men and breed? The simplistic stupidity of what you just posted is either a joke or you've been dumpster diving for old National Enquirer magazines for stuff to post. Genes, by their very nature, enable and disable characteristics in a myriad different ways.
Based on your contributions here so far, you're a braggart, not a scientist or a learned member of this forum. I'd only be guessing why you make claims without backing them up, I believe that you're afraid. Afraid to find out that you are among peers, not the lesser beings that you arrogantly imagine.

Well. She is clearly an idiot on many subjects. What’s worse is people voted her in. Let’s see who is voting for her. Her district is 34 percent black - largest ethnic group. Next group is Hispanic. Almost 50 percent indicate English is not the primary language at home.

Most scientists have an innate desire to help other people understand? lol. Are you serious? Do you really believe that shit? Scientists are just people, same as you and I. Stop putting these people on a pedestal. They are motivated by the EXACT same things you and I are. ONLY difference, is they got more trained. They are not 'superior', unless you consider being more educated to be superior. I don't. WHO people are does not change based on your education. I have seen just as many asshole scientists, as non-ones. Why is everything a liquid? Because unless you achieve absolute zero (that's in Kelvin, not Celsius or Fahrenheit), even the most solid substances to your eye, are actually abuzz with motion at an atomic level (it's called Brownian Motion) Think of 'solids' as incredibly viscous liquids, if that helps you understand it. Or as frozen liquids. But either way, they are NOT solid. And a gas would be the other extreme. A liquid that is so dispersed, that to your eye it appears as another state of matter. But when it comes to understanding fluid dynamics, the actual study of fluid motions, there is no difference between those three states, only the quantity of time it takes for them to behave as fluids. Look up glass, if you don't believe me. It's actually described as a Supercooled Liquid. As to the fourth state, plasma, that's just a gas, stripped of its ions, and it behaves like any other gas, which means really, as a fluid. But, to be practical, to be predictive on short time scales, it is easier to understand matter as having four states. And it allows lay people like you, to have a basic understanding of how the world works. So there you go. Explained as best I can, given your background. As to men coming from women, you tell ME what is a better explanation for men having organs that serve no function on them, but do on women. G-d? Is that the best you have, given the evidence? And to be clear, when I say men from women, I am not referring to Homo sapiens. The strategy of male and female occurred WAY before we were on the scene. Millions of years. I'm talking the FIRST animals that segregated into male and female. We're just the latest version. Now please do NOT accept anything I've said here as proof of my science background. I'm telling you because I feel like it, nothing more. Freon

“If the Earth Really Is Round, Why Are There So Many Globes Everywhere? Everywhere there’s globes…and that’s what they do to brainwash… For me, if it is not a conspiracy, if it is, you know, ‘real,’ why are you pushing so hard? Everywhere I go, every store, you buy a globe, there’s globes everywhere—every movie, every TV show, news media, why?”

And after all this there are still people here who want to expand the federal govt more and hand the control of healthcare over to these morons. How many committees does the idiot from Texas sit on. Three. Homeland security, judiciary and budget. Doesn’t that inspire faith and confidence.

Well. I don’t believe it is being done in the us. But countries such as China have been doing it for years. Well publicized and bragged about during the Beijing Olympics. Weather mod to release rain and induce rain outside the city and stadium. Speaking of weather modification, look up NOAA form 17-4. In Montana for many years the cyanide that was used to leech gold was loaded into planes and sprayed into the forests to get rid of it. Eventually that practice was banned. After many denials. And there are many patents for weather modification, release of bio weapons. etc. And there are states that have introduced bills to ban any Chem releases into the air and they did not pass them. Ok. So it’s less a conspiracy as much as it does happen in at least one other country and has happened in parts of the us in our past and we know at least China does it. Therefore It’s more of a let’s make certain it doesn’t happen here. So, to the extent we’ve been assured we are not doing things that China does, or has been done here in the past this bill shouldn’t be an issue.

While I enjoy these cute little digressions of yours, no one is fooled by what they are. I asked you a simple and straightforward question and you refused to defend what you claimed earlier that everything is really "liquid". The "genuine article" as you seem to be ridiculously calling yourself, wouldn't spend all his time bragging about his superior education and would instead act like a scientist by explaining what he says with factual sources and data. Most real scientists have a innate desire to help others understand, not childishly taunt "I know more than you know!!!". Arrogance seems to be your only expertise here. Not sure what "news" was telling you that there was lots of "octane" in gasoline or why you would think no one else understands the term and its details. Another distraction so that you don't have to explain your "liquid, liquid everywhere!!" fairy tale from earlier posts.
But by all means, if you can, prove me wrong. Show us that you have the science to back up the two claims that you've made on this thread. Freon Yes, I do believe that the typical scientist has an innate curiosity and desire to help the rest of us understand. I'm referring, of course, to normal scientists, not to arrogant, cynical blowhards that pretend that they know something about science. Sure there are assholes in every walk of life, but scientific study is the quest for knowledge no matter how you slice it. Molecular motion doesn't mean everything is a liquid. Liquid is a specific state of not just motion, but the forces between molecules. And glass is also called an "amorphous solid", which is an odd scientific label if "real" genius scientists like yourself are in on the secret that it's all "liquid". For gases and liquids, the term "fluid" is more applicable and correct.
But it's all a game of semantics to the likes of you, not science. If you are interested in accuracy, calling everything "liquid" is ridiculous. Such wordplay is reflection of the one-upmanship subterfuge that you like to play at rather than any real discussion of science.
Did I bring up God at all? To throw out a dishonest strawman fallacy like that is a sign of desperation and a lack of confidence in your own argument.
"....you tell ME what is a better explanation for men having organs that serve no function on them, but do on women" - Freon. His "example" are nipples on men (not an organ). OK, let's see if women have non functional male features. I wonder if he's noticed that part of a female's genitalia (it varies by female) that has a phallic shape? Guess where that came from? Does that mean men came first?
Real intelligence means that you think such things through first before opening your pie hole to let them out. I did, you didn't.
