The part in bold is exactly why many people are concerned about hiring token pilots. It’s a stupid policy. So how do you know that the women and people of color are not just as qualified. It’s like Harvard. Most enrolled are not because they are more qualified. It is because they have family and others to help get them in. Now address my quarterback example. Of all the airline crashes in recent past there have been no AA pilots involved. The pilot who landed the Alaska Airline that lost part of the roof…was a woman. This type of discourse by Candace and Charlie is inaccurate, misleading, ugly and should not be given a platform. They belong on a street corner on a wooden crate howling at the sky. This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is what happens when you believe your own BS lies. What about airline crashes in recent past? This has nothing to do with what Candace and Charlie are saying... which is that if you lower standards just so you can hire more black pilots... then they will question the qualifications for those pilots.
