So you know for a fact that we have black pilots only because of DEI. WOW, you must be Psychic. Is that also why the majority of NFL quarterbacks are black? Because I reminder the time when black men were just not qualified to be quarterbacks. And Haley says this is not a racist country. I’ll bet your dumb redneck ignorant ass think you are smarter than the average black person. “If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.” ― Lyndon B. Johnson The part in bold is exactly why many people are concerned about hiring token pilots. It’s a stupid policy. There is no such thing as a "token pilot". Greg

The part in bold is exactly why many people are concerned about hiring token pilots. It’s a stupid policy. So how do you know that the women and people of color are not just as qualified. It’s like Harvard. Most enrolled are not because they are more qualified. It is because they have family and others to help get them in. Now address my quarterback example. I am sure you remember when black men were not qualified to be a quarterbacks 1. Maybe minorities are just as qualified, and maybe they’re not. When government and private companies create these affirmative action-type policies, it just invites this kind of suspicion. It’s better not to have these agendas at all. 2. Blacks were always qualified to play quarterback. But in the early days they weren’t regarded as smart enough to lead offenses. James Harris was the first to prove them wrong, followed by guys like Randall Cunningham and Warren Moon. Doug Williams led the Redskins to the Super Bowl title, and that helped open the door even more. Today, as football offenses have changed to accommodate more athletic and mobile QBs, black QBs are commonplace. The best QBs in the NFL are black, from Patrick Mahomes to Lamar Jackson to Jalen Hurts, The league didn’t implement a specific policy to allow for more black QBs. The game just evolved.

Your suspicions are your problem. In the end, everyone has to take the same test and pass in order to get a license. Just like getting a driver’s license. Women can’t drive, I once heard, yet they take the same test that men do to get their license. Government has to create affirmative action to create opportunities that they would otherwise not have. Absolutely, blacks have always been qualified to be quarterbacks. Just like they have always been qualified to fly planes. But if people don’t give you the opportunity because they believe you are not smart enough, then you won’t ever be able to do so No, the game did not just evolve, just like there will be no evolution of black and female pilots. There has to be a program in place to make it happen abcnews.go.com/Sports/decadeslong-struggle-break-nfls-quarterback-color-barrier-subject/story?id=91167615

I knew that would make your racist ass happy “If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.” ― Lyndon B. Johnson Candace Owens makes a mighty fine living telling white failures what they want to hear.

Oh for fucks sake. How stupid can libs be? Charlie Kirk did not say black pilots can't fly airplanes. Do you people have zero brain cells or are you intentionally assholes? Either way you are all fuck ups. CK said that seeing a black pilot would bring up doubts because Diversity Exclusion and Inequity might lead to lower standards to meet quotas. Then he said, DEI is doing a disservice to black, Asian and female pilots because many people are going to question their abilities. DEI requires superficial attributes like skin color and sex to be factors in hiring rather intellect, experience and skill. The irony of the hole thing is that it is a racist and sexist policy because it portends to prevent making hiring decisions using race and sex by hiring using race and sex. Now, where he, and most of the general public are wrong, is that skin color is a factor in qualification as a pilot. There is a set of criteria that must be completed. The FAA sets those standards and monitors those tests. However, they are standardized tests and they represent the minimum government standard. What should scare the shit out of everyone is the combination of accelerated ambaby boomer retirements, record growth and dwindling supply of pilots that are experienced. I've flown with "qualified" pilots that can't even talk on a radio. They are not trying to meet quotas. They are providing opportunities

It's more difficult to be a public racist than it was years ago, but nutjobs like Kirk still manage to do it. I wonder what empirical evidence he bases his racism on, especially as U.S. airplane crashes are few and far between.

DEI doesn't solve the issue, but it surely creates new ones. :/
