Then they don't have to pay child support. Remember the phrase "our body"? well its your choice what goes in it. A dick with a rubber, a dick without a rubber, or a dildo. Unless raped, its their fault they got pregnant. Have you ever even seen a real live naked woman? Ive never been married and live in Maine. So Ive seen many.

The URL said EMAIL in it at the end, that doesn't mean it was a link to an actual email retard. My argument has been that the laws that currently exist have to be addressed now that there has been amendment. That can be done through the judicial process (controlled by republicans) or through the legislative process (controlled by republicans). Of the two processes the legislative process is the most democratic and as I pointed out but your brain cell couldn't comprehend the democrats are also looking to use the legislative process to address those laws. You poor thing. I don't know why you do this to yourself.

If it changes existing law, the Constitutional change trumps existing law. The only thing that needs to happen is the judiciary reviewing existing law and announcing "repealed by Constitutional amendment" or something similar. What the Ohio state legislators are trying to do is totally eliminate the judiciary from the process, probably in hopes of delaying the new change to the Constitution. So now it will take others filing suits against the state legislature if they go ahead with their plan. If you can't see what the Ohio state legislature is tryng to do here, you not be understanding. A Constitutional amendment does not necessarily require any new laws, but even if it does, the amendment itself IS the new law. The Ohio state Republicans are just trying to slow and obstruct the normal process.

Looks like Missouri Republicans are now getting into this abortion action, predictably on the opposite side of popular opinion. The MO Secretary of State is trying like hell to get his own right wing gibberish into the ballot initiative in the form of "to allow dangerous, unregulated (he has no problem with unregulated guns), and unrestricted abortions from conception to live birth, without requiring a medical license or potentially being subject to malpractice." Hilarious bullshit.....since the proposed initiative allows for no such thing. The myth about "abortion up until the moment of birth" is just made up nonsense by right wing nutjobs. The court correctly fish slapped the Secretary of State (a guy named Ashcroft, the son of Dubya Bush's US Attorney General). Just one more effort from GQP state legislators to thwart the will of the people. If I had been a judge in this case, I'd ask the Secretary of State Ashcroft to provide the names of any medical doctors who would agree to perform an abortion a week before the delivery date. I'd bet he'd not be able to find one. www.yahoo.com/news/missouri-court-deals-blow-secretary-211142052.html

Go back and read the thread fool, this has already been addressed. Bullshit. I read the original article about this Ohio legislature move.....and just a few days after OH voted for their amendment, MO state legislators are now trying to change the language in their own upcoming referendum to include bullshit and lies (at the insistence of Republicans, of course). You're the one jumping up and down about how laws have to be changed and that's the reason the OH legislators did this. Bullshit. They did this only in an effort to prolong the adoption of the amendment. They pretty much made this effort plain BEFORE the actual voting; they tried and failed to raise the threshold for amendments to sixty per cent "yes" instead of fifty per cent. They failed on that, now they're trying this. Pay attention. And live and learn...go look up "general statutes of (name of your state)" and you will find in that massive file numerous entries where laws have been repealed or changed. You'll see statements like "repealed by......." or "altered by...." so the only thing that needs to be done in OH is to find the existing laws applying to abortion, strike them from the statutes, and put in their place "repealed by constitutional amendment" or however they word it. You stumble around in here more than Punchy.

Crickets.....guess the nutjob finally recognizes that the OH state legislature is going to try and attempt to repeal the recent popular referendum. Just like I said they were going to do. It's why they froze the judicial branch out of the situation. You can bet your ass that since the vote, the GQP leaders of the OH state legislature have been in "discussions" with "friends" of the OH Supreme Court justices about this matter. Just like every other time they're shown proof of something, crickets erupt and they glom onto some other nonsense.
