There is risk in life, Greg. Time is scarce to all of us, and it's up to us to manage the risk of day-to-day life. Continued biological existence at 100% certainty while holed up on house arrest is not preferable to me than 99.99% certainty of existence while doing what I want and what brings me joy.
… and Herman Cain is still dead....

Great point. Really. Smart. You’ve proven to be an very impressive person, both intellectually and with regards to your courage.

Stu's article isn't wrong per se, but it is. It isn't wrong in that there are only about 9700 that died with only the coding for COVID-19. 1 Bullshit .. Take a person with Type 1 Diabetes.
If that person is bitten by a shark and while in the ER they have trouble managing that person's blood sugar and that person dies.. Shark bite IS the cause of death.. Period.
Let's not forget the first predictions were for 2 million people to die... 2 ... if no actions are taken. Are you so desperate to lie that you'll consistently leave out that^ bit .. and we can say with absolute certainty that red states fared a whole hell of a lot better than blue states. Better health care down here y'all [img alt=" " 3 Bullshit .. . Part Deux 1 That's what I was saying. 2 So if 2 million is the standard if nothing is done, and less than 200,000 is the result, that's a 90% reduction. I'm pretty sure that is an A in most schools' of thought. 3 Man, you just don't pay attention. I get it. You only watch the big 3 and anything else left leaning so you don't get the whole picture. So let's drop some knowledge. Edgar Hope-Simpson predicted that a pandemic would hit the US in two waves. The first wave would hit the northern states and have a higher death rate and the second wave would hit the southern states and have a lower death rate. That is exactly what happened. Your chart above happens to show the north easter and north western states, primarily, as the drivers of the first wave and they happen to be mostly blue states. Now that the second wave is hitting states below the 35th parallel and those happen to be mostly red states. Politics had nothing to do with it. Your ignorant ass just decided to apply politics because you don't know any better. Maybe you are less ignorant now. No doubt still as much of an ass though. www.springer.com/gp/book/9780306440731

Probably should have closed the beaches and bars after 9/11.
