CDC Says, ONLY 9,700 deaths FROM Corona Virus ALONE

Why do we keep arguing about this. We’ve tracked annual deaths per 100k in this country since 1950. The estimates are incredibly accurate with actuals. We know the predicted deaths from various causes pre covid.

The numbers will tell us how many addl deaths were due to covid. The others would have happened with or without it, possibly, depending on the numbers.

So, Twitter removed a post that linked to the CDC website, but fake videos by Rep. Scalise and one of a fake Biden sleeping interview are still up just labeled "manipulated media." What sense does that make.

I'm going to try and explain the numbers as I understand them.

When someone dies there has always been a code associated with it. They also include other data like height, weight, sex, race, age, etc. The CDC tracks those codes and that's how we know these people die of that and those people die of this. Those numbers are generally very consistent, but there are times when we have spikes. What is important to note is that the doctors assign the code but that task may go to a medical examiner if local ordinances require it.

During COVID-19, the CDC added a code for COVID. The code can be assigned to an individual if they test positive for COVID-19 or if the doctor's diagnosis was COVID-19. The code is the same for tested and diagnosed.

COVID-19, has some deadly side effects that lead to additional issues. COVID-19 can cause pneumonia or cause enough stress to induce a heart attack if the individual is so inclined. When more than one condition is present, both COVID-19 and the additional condition (comorbidity) are listed.

As I have stated in the past, there are logical flaws to this recording system. The first is the diagnosed COVID-19 is listed with the same weight as tested. There should be separate codes because each type of determination have different rates of reliability. That means it becomes very difficult to determine the reliability of the coding. A diagnosed COVID-19 is not as reliable as a tested determination. But even a tested determination is not 100% accurate.

The second problem is that the CDC isn't collecting data on whether COVID-19 and the comorbidity are equal contributors or weighted. For example, someone may have the flu, get pneumonia and die from those conditions but also have tested positive for COVID-19. Since the flu and COVID-19 have some very similar symptoms and not all the COVID-19 symptoms are presented in every case, or even most cases, it is hard to tell if the person that had the flu would have survived without COVID-19. Further, those comorbidities might be diagnosed rather than tested making it impossible to determine (from the data) whether both were present or not. The end result is that it is impossible to know whether the comorbidity or COVID-19 was the primary cause, equal contributors or secondary causes.

The final clue to the puzzle is the excess death rate. There is an undeniable increase in the death rate. However, we have some other mitigating factors. It was well documented that hospitals cut back their services in anticipation of increased demand as a result of COVID-19. What is not well known or well documented is how much that increased the rate of death. We know some people had heart attacks at home because they were unwilling or believed they were unwelcome at their local doctor/hospital. We don't know how much that impacted the death rate. We can suppose that some people didn't get life saving diagnoses because their doctor was closed or the individual thought they'd be at a high risk for getting the virus. Again, we don't know the total extent. I suspect it isn't that significant, but it is there.

We also still don't know just how many people had COVID-19 and never knew it. We only allowed testing if people showed symptoms and we know that a large percentage of infected people never show symptoms.

In total, the data we've collected is crap. It's going to take a lot of studying and mathematical wizardry to dissect what has happened over the last year and we won't have answers quickly.
