Big bad scary Russia fails with yet another assassination plot. Continuing their long streak.
But be very scared of Russia. They are a world powerhouse. The world trembles when they shrug their shoulders. A world powerhouse that somehow cannot do the one thing governments have always excelled at: Killing people.

I guess maybe Putin needs a few pointers from an average beat cop in any of our Democrat cities?

Lot of people "falling" out of windows though. Practically an epidemic.

Lot of people "falling" out of windows though. Practically an epidemic. If by "lot of" you mean 3 ... then yeah, 3 people. Of which only 2 died. So yeah ... Russia sure is scary. Or their assassination "experts" have trouble with simple calculations like evaluating how high a drop has to be to kill a target. Unless you're referring to the 75 year old covid patients linked to a drug that causes suicidal thoughts? I'm not thinking the 75 yr old patients were targetted assassinations. Quoting family members .... "Family members of other victims have suggested coronavirus sufferers are experiencing suicidal thoughts from drugs used to treat them, causing them to try and kill themselves." But I'm sure guys like Fiddler won't let little things like that get in their way. Queshank

If by "lot of" you mean 3 ... then yeah, 3 people. 3 doctors in May, a police major in July. Those windows are dangerous.

One of whom is believed to be a legitimate suicide after she was "unfairly" blamed for the spread of coronavirus in her hospital. (It's at the link I shared.) And the police major is specifically the one whose family noticed how erratic she was being after she took anti covid drugs and argued with her physician about her mood swings. (Again in the link I shared.) It's like you're trying to blame traffic accident victims in Los Angeles on beat cops in down town Minneapolis. Which I guess isn't too far from the prevailing narrative on that topic . Queshank

Russia just hasn't taken a page from states like New York yet.
Those deaths weren't as a result of a fall from hospital windows.
They were covid 19 deaths.
Get with the program Demos.

Yeah Phillip ... but this thread is about all the survivors. There sure are a lot. Have you noticed? And somehow when they do manage to kill someone ... Russia is *always* the assumed assassin. There is always some amateur, half assed evidence leading back to Russia. Just a hint for you Phillip ... but that is also not the hallmark of a successful state assassination. Queshank

(Should I just assume this "vile" commentary carries over as your own criticism of Obama's targeted assassination of US citizens who worked against his administration?) I'm critiquing the validity of the manufactured and somewhat preposterous narrative that sets their status as a "world power." Queshank

Queshank You're taking my comments too seriously. I know. But your comments reflect serious comments made by the Russia Russia Russia brigade so I'm using you as a standin I know. That's why I thought it was notable her family talked about her erratic mood swings with her physician. And her family doesn't blame POOOTIN! They blame an antibiotic she was administered that is apparently known to cause mental distress as a side effect. Queshank

Queshank Suggestion is, this was not Russian state but someone irritated by the victim shining light on corruption. No. The suggestion is ... Russia isn't very good at it. Wow! 10 deaths of mixed variety and suspicion in 20 years of a 3rd world country going through turmoil and trying to redefine itself after its parent nation went through a complete collapse. /sarcasm Two observations: 1- not terribly noteworthy. In fact its to be expected when a country goes through this kind of turmoil. Hell, far more than 10 people have been shot in political struggles in the past few months in our own "turmoil" as our country collapses, hastened by the self inflicted headshots of the shutdowns. You should do a list of all the survivors. There's a lot of those too. A surprising amount for a country with a badass reputation like Russia's. 2- not terribly many political assassinations for a 3rd world country like Russia. Perhaps they're 2nd world, not 3rd? All I know is ... they're not a 1st world country despite attempts by Western governments to prop them up as a perennial international foil. Queshank
