Money. Left a wife and child behind. I don't really think it was worth it. That’s kinda messed up. Imagine losing your life over money. I imagine there were naive good intentions involved as well but such a waste.

Well, the basement dwelling couch potato has "responsibilities"... Does it mean that you don't forget to get yourself hosed down once in a while? I bathe more often than french hobos. They hose you down at the institution, it's not like you have choice.

we're giving them away for free and also giving them billions in 💸 💰 That’s just insane. Not really. The fight in Ukraine hugely benefits the US. You'd be crazy to be stingy.

I guess he had his reasons for going over there. I know I would never do it. I would not risk my life (and hurting my family) for a country I don’t even care about. You most likely would not risk your life even if you had a good reason for it. Jasmine is Japanese not some chicken shit Frenchman

Why isn't he here right now, accusatory, calling you a racist. He'd do it to any of us on the left for much less than that. But of course we know why he isn't, because he's a fucking hypocrite, that's why! You read that, rabshit? You're a fucking hypocrite!!!

Not all of those vehicles requite a Javelin to defeat.

Not all of those vehicles requite a Javelin to defeat. The article isn't just about Javelins, nor is that thread. The main point is about restocking our munitions. So, at some point - if/as this conflict drags on - we're going to have an issue regarding what we - alone - can provide. There's just a natural limit.

I'll put it to you plainly, demos: If we ramp up Javelin production, the Russians WILL run out of tanks before we run out of Javelins. And that's a fact. Furthermore, do you really think that a Javelin is the only way to kill an armored vehicle? Your entire position here is silly.

Both we'd have to ramp up production which would take about 24 months according to that article. And replacing the Stingers could take longer. I don't see you actually rebutting any of that. You just keep repeating "Not all of those are tanks" as if that changes the timeline on replacing our missile stock, which isn't an issue limited to Javelins.

I see you are also backing away from your original position by using words like 'maybe' and 'could'. I repeated the statement that 'Not all of those vehicles requite a Javelin to defeat' because it has the added bonus of being a fact. What other things can defeat tanks? Well, let's see.....other tanks, fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, other ATGMs, artillery, hand-held anti-tank weapons (RPGs, M-136s, Karl Gustavs, etc. - that list is very, Very, VERY long), AT guns, AT mines, IEDs, Molotov Cocktails, etc., Etc., ETC. Furthermore, sometimes a hard kill isn't even necessary, a mobility kill is enough, as a tank's mobility and shock ability is a big part of it's overall value. A mobility-killed tank is a metal pillbox, and that's it. So you read an article. OK. The point is you are fixated on Javelins when their are PLENTY of other options. And that makes you a neophyte in this area.

And that isn't just a problem with Javelins, and it's not just one article. But you would need to actually read the thread and the articles in it. Here's some more articles for you: U.S. Missiles Sent to Ukraine Aren’t Easily Replaced, Panel Tells SenateFacing obsolete parts, Raytheon struggling to replace Stingers sent to UkraineTaiwan flags risk of Stinger missile delays, says pressing U.S.As I said earlier, there's ultimately going to be a limit on how much we - alone - can provide.

Trying to deflect to SAMs now? Come on, demos.

Trying to deflect to SAMs now? Come on, demos. There's no deflection. Both were mentioned in the original thread. It was mentioned in the OP, and another article posted later. And the first link isn't just about Stingers. Maybe read this stuff instead of just reacting to a clickbait headline, because by doing the later you're not actually addressing what the actual concern and issue is. Seriously, read.
