Infectious disease expert says it'll be safe to cast ballots in person if voters follow social distancing guidelines
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said this week there is “no reason” Americans can’t vote in person for the 2020 presidential election, so long as voters follow proper social distancing guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case,” Fauci told ABC News this week. “If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don’t have a crowded situation, there’s no reason why shouldn’t be able to do that.”
TRUMP SAYS DEMOCRATS' MAIL-IN BALLOT PUSH HOLDING UP CORONAVIRUS STIMULUS NEGOTIATIONS
Fauci added that individuals who are “compromised physically or otherwise” and who are not interested in physically going to the polls on Election Day, can use mail-in voting.
But Fauci doubled-down, saying “there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to vote in person or otherwise.”
www.foxnews.com/politics/fauci-no-reason-americans-cant-vote-in-person-november Second time in the last week you were not able to understand what putting words in quotes means.
"no reason" means it was either taken out of context, or does not have the meaning you would expect based on the words alone.
Do some digging. Find out what they were quoting. THEN post.

True, but has Dr. Fauci ever had to cast a ballot in one of our inner cities? Sure, it could be done safely, but not in the timeframe allocated for in-person voting. Would take days to cast all the ballots in a physically distant manner. But it'll primarily affect the inner cities that have been under a vote suppression scheme for decades, so who cares right?

Freon owned again... In a new interview, Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a core member of the White House coronavirus task force, sought to alleviate the concerns of those who are worried about contracting the coronavirus should they go out and vote in the upcoming election. "I think if carefully done according to the guidelines, there's no reason that I can see why that [should] not be the case. For example, when you look at going to a grocery store now, in many regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have X's every 6 or more feet. And it says, 'Don't leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot.' And you can do that. If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing and don't have a crowded situation, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that," Fauci told National Geographic. "I mean, obviously, if you're a person who is compromised physically or otherwise, you don't want to take the chance. There's the situation of mail-in voting that has been done for years in many places. So there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to vote in person or otherwise," he continued. www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/fauci-no-reason-why-people-cant-vote-in-person-if-carefully-doneSee, that wasn't so hard.

One saving grace may be that so many people are out of work that they can space out when they arrive at the polling places, instead of all showing up en masse at the end of the day (been there, seen that). Probably mid-morning or mid-afternoon is the best time to try to vote in person.
Me, I've been voting by mail for decades now. But this time I will be double-checking to make sure my ballot gets counted. Might even mean hand carry my mail-in ballot to the nearest post office and sticking it in the slot there. Or, even handing it directly over the counter.

I wasn't aware that Fauci was an expert on voting. Possibly he missed all the problems and people turned away from voting prior to the coronavirus, but he did pepper his statement with "ifs" “I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there’s no reason that I can see why that not be the case,” Fauci told ABC News this week. “If you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don’t have a crowded situation," If, if, if, you do all these things right, then "there’s no reason why shouldn’t be able to do that.”

Just heard a tape of Fauci on in-person voting:
"If you think you can ignore the biologic, not going to happen"...
In other words, social distancing and mask wearing is vital. In the literal sense of the word "vital".
The LNF controlls can spread as much misinformation as they like. It doesn't change the biology.
