So of course we won't do it.
In a nutshell, the current Covid test - the only one the FDA has approved for emergency use - is too expensive, too slow, and because of this it lets too many active cases spread the virus.
An alternative test would be cheaper, and five times as effective in detecting and stopping infected individuals from spreading the virus. So why don't we use it?

By my calculations, we will be down to fewer than 100 new cases a day nationwide by the end of August. So there's really no point in what you suggest. Did you get your medical degree at Trump University? |

According to the Statista web site, there were over 49,000 new covid cases in the USA on August 6, 2020.
You OK with using that site as a reference on August 31st?

Let's say whichever of us is wrong about new covid cases as reported on the Statista site for 8-31-20 will have to stop posting or creating new threads on LNF for a full seven days. That is, from 9-1-20 through 9-7-20.

It’s clear the numbers are all made up. Did you see the report that was buried yesterday. California came out and admitted they actually have no idea how many cases they have. At all.

Well, it turns out that due to a computer "glitch" and a dilatory major commercial (private) lab, the results in California likely have been UNDER REPORTED. So it makes D-mented's claim even more flimsy.
Plus, the problem is likely to be resolved in a couple of days. So by the end of the month, D-mented's claim will be even more bogus.
