This is sort of like Movie Quotes, but instead it's about words we encounter often, but may not know their origin.
As with Movie Quotes, resorting to Google or other search engine to find the answer is not allowed. We need to rely on our prior knowledge, if any.

Actually, the Czech word is Robota, not Robot.

I seem to recall the term "Quaker" originally came from the sect's habit of quaking or shivering as they were in deep prayer, as if shaken by the Hand of God.
Or I might just have mistaken them for some other sect.

Alcatraz... an island in the middle of San Francisco Bay that used to be a somewhat notorious federal prison.
I'll have to search my memory to remember the origin of that name... might have to take a shot of whisky for that... but I'm not allowed any for a couple of days (covid vaccination). Damn.

Um, you left out the key reason why his name is used as the root of the term to denote harsh treatment: Draco dictated very stringent punishments for even the slightest of infractions.
However this sort of shows you didn't Google it; good.
