More details:
Of course McTurtle rejected it. Because it would allow more legitimate voters the chance to cast their votes. Something he and other concucks don't want.

Note to KSUBloviator:
Not every legit voter has a drivers' license. Not every legit voter has a gun permit.
But many have other legit forms of ID, such as the mentioned college ID cards.
Hey, Google is your friend. You just don't want to learn.

Hey, Google is your friend. You just don't want to learn. Not everybody huh? I did some digging. I picked numbers from 2018 because they are complete with no estimates. In 2018 there were 225,721,700 people with a driver's license. There are 253,768,092 people over 18 in the US. Granted, some of the drivers are under 18. So let's round down to 220 million drivers. That leaves 87% with a driver's license. Then you figure in those that have valid ID cards and I'm sure over 90% of Americans have something that qualifies. School IDs do not qualify because they are not government issued or quality controlled. Same goes for work IDs. hedgescompany.com/blog/2018/10/number-of-licensed-drivers-usa/www.reference.com/world-view/many-adults-live-usa-b830ecdfb6047660

You know for someone who generally favors small government, the smaller the better, I'm surprised that you want to expand the government to issue "quality controlled" government certified ID's.
How very odd.

Also, KSUBloviator is playing fast and loose with statistics.
According to Statista, there are about 21 million Americans between the age of 15 and 19. Let's cut that in half to represent those between 16 and 18. That gives us over 10 million, not the five million KSUBloviator claims.
Caught in the act, again!

I am not for no government and I'm not a libertarian. I am for government that protects rights. Voter ID requirements protect the rights of legal voters by preventing voter dilution.

At some point you have to realize that you have to mischaracterize my positions to even have a childish response. Doesn't your lack of an intellectual response tell you something?

At some point KSUBloviator will never realize that his position is one of maximizing votes for Republican candidates by denying the vote to legitimate voters who might vote otherwise.

At some point KSUBloviator will never realize that his position is one of maximizing votes for Republican candidates by denying the vote to legitimate voters who might vote otherwise. Maybe someday you'll see yourself for what you say. In the mean time, you are mischaracterizing what I say. I've shown that it is highly likely that 90% or more of voters have a state issued ID. Those that don't have it probably can't get to the appropriate government office to get the ID any way. They can (in every state) use just their SSN and signature for verification on an absentee ballot. If they are immobile enough to not be able to get an ID, they can get an absentee ballot. If they are a legal voter they have a SSN and can sign the form. For anyone that is left out, your state can do what Texas did, have the ID delivered to their home and do the entire process through the postal service. I'm not trying to stop Democrat voters. I am trying to stop illegal voters. If you think those are one and the same, that's your assumption. I've always wanted a fair process and the results will be just. I happen to have the same view on the economy, education, trade, etc.

From what I've read, the problem hasn't been so much with states as with cities, towns, and counties making voting far more difficult than it needs to be. Reducing polling stations in areas where people of color are the majority, for example. Demanding multiple forms of ID at the polling places. Making people wait in long lines to vote. All this has been in the news.

All this has been in the news. I know that last year the polling stations were closed because of lack of poll workers. I've never heard of requiring multiple IDs. But I have heard of moving goal posts. You lost the ID argument so you looked for another aspect.

What "ID argument" did I lose?
From the link in the OP:
Sounds like Ksubloviator is the one who's lost an argument here.
