[These directions are the same as before.] I thought the Breeze forum would be an ideal place for a new kind of thread: debates over silly topics that are neither based on politics, nor pop culture entertainment. For the most part, these will be questions that have been floating around in one corner of the internet or another. This is a kind of game, more than a serious debate, so I just ask that we stick to the following three rules: 1. Please vote in the poll at some point if you're going to join in the discussion.
2. It is perfectly Ok to change your mind, even to change it more than once, but it goes against the spirit of the game to sit back and claim the moral high ground by claiming all points of view are valid. Of course they are, as these aren't serious discussions. The point is to pick a side and have fun defending it!
3. Politics really don't have a place in these discussions.

Yes! Meat (of any kind) SANDWICHED between BREAD is a SANDWICH. That includes fish and poultry.

If there's a piece of meat, poultry or fish where some sort of bread is used to keep your fingers from touching the contents or condiments prior to consumption, IT'S A SAMMMICH!!!!!

Greg But imagine this. You're at the office. It's lunchtime and it's time to send the intern out to get lunch. You tell him, "Go get us all some sandwiches." He comes back 30 minutes later with a tray full of hot dogs. Would you not think he had lost his mind? |

What's the difference between a Hoagie Roll and a Hot Dog Bun? The size and a hot dog bun is for a hot dog a hoagie roll is for a hoagie, two completely different animals. |

Although there's a cafe in town which puts a hamburger patty between two pieces of garlic Texas toast with green chiles and cheese. It's very very tasty. And another place wraps a hot dog in a tortilla with condiments. also very good.
