That is not the scientific answer. Do I have to remind you that modern science was founded by Christians? Many of those great minds of science were Young Earth Creationists! They invented everything and still invent useful things today. There are many scientists who agree with the Flood. More importantly, how did those marine fossils become fossils prior to the uplifts?

Maine fossils have been found in all the highest mountain tops in the world, including Mt.Everest.
Several whale fossils have been found up in the Andes mountains.
The fossils are found in sedimentary rock. That makes perfect sense if one accepts the Flood.

Since sedimentary rock is made from the erosive force of water its clear that a whole lotta water covered the earth. But the earth during the Antediluvian Period did not have the same continental structure we see today. Rapid erosion is a true physical process that has been witnessed even in modern times. In the Book of Job (dated 2000 B.C.), Job observes the continuing and ongoing aftermath of the Flood when he says: Job here is a scientific witness to the aftermath of the Flood as it eroded landmass even up to his day 1000 years after the Flood. Job attributes these changes on earth to the Flood when he says "so you destroy man's hope." Our large ocean basins used to be land before the Flood. Our oceans today are a reminder of the Flood. |
