It makes one feel good, but there isn’t much more benefit to it than that. As for voting for Obama “simply” because he’s black, no that doesn’t define a racist either. One could do that because he felt it would be good for black people to have a role model, or because he felt a black man would understand his situation better or for other reasons that have nothing to do with a belief in racial superiority. |

I agree that Trump is a racist. But I cannot make a blanket statement that everyone who votes for him is a racist. They might just be idiots.
But it seems that they are more likely to be racist than those who do not vote for Trump.
The two for one specials, of course, are the idiots who vote for Trump who also are racists.

I didn't like his attacks at first. But now I see that his attacks on stupid people like her are necessary and a good thing. Premise 1: Racism is bad. Premise 2: x is racist. Conclusion: Therefore x is bad. Lots of times people spend their time arguing against Premise 2. I think they should argue against premise 1 instead. So somebody might contend that "racism is not bad"? What do you mean by bad? Like...evil? Morally wrong? Or...deficient and inferior? Like "don't eat the chicken; it has gone bad"? Racism, based on the idea that individuals are more defined by a group characteristic than individuality, would see some groups as inherently inferior to others, and by default, every individual within that group is inferior to every individual outside that group (a generalization, for sure, but for the racist, a valid generalization). Is this idea "bad," as in evil? Well, it denies the inherent value of every individual, making some individuals "more valuable" than others, simply based on group identity. So, yes, in that way, racism is "bad." Is this idea "bad," as in stupid and useless? Well, it would deny society and culture the benefits that might be added from any qualified individual regardless of group identity, since it would dismiss or promote an individual based on group identity. So, yes, in that way, racism is also "bad." In what ways is it "good"? |

There's a lot of reasons these arguments providing proof "Trump is a racist" aren't very persuasive.
I'd say the #1 reason is they always start with what they think is a crushing example... the *one* example that makes it into every one of these attempts to rationalize why Trump is racist for people:
Fred Trump's apartment businesses. That's *proof* Donald Trump is a racist. Because before Donald Trump owned the businesses, Fred Trump wound up afoul of new legislation.
The other is articles like you've shared here. "X happened." And they editorialize X heavily ...
And then they bring on a string of people to explain why it was racist. And every one of the people they bring on to explain why it was racist, just so happen to be Donald Trump's opponents at the time. And this is why I call you a leftist instead of a liberal. Because that doesn't seem at all fishy to you. It makes perfect sense and you never stop for just a moment to consider objectivity.
Like the Central Park Five incident ... where Trump said: “They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes. I want to hate these murderers and I always will.” First they don't actually go into much detail in the "What Trump Did" department ... because they never do. And then they interview the defendant's attorney lol. And that shit works for you because you're all about objectivity and science rofl! I bet you watched the abysmal Netflix documentary and never once thought you needed to fact check any of that steaming pile of nonsense.
In one of the examples (Indian casinos) ... one of the opinions they get is a Democratic congressman ffs. "I remember watching the faces of Indian people in the back" lol
And you eat that shit up because you don't need facts. You need opinions that scratch your itch. Because you've abandoned liberalism in favor of the leftism that scratches your itch. Is it 100% no, probably not... like you say they are always uninformed idiots. Anyone who has turned on a TV in the last 20 years though and still voted for him, they're most definitely racist. Really at this point you'd have to keep yourself intentionally uninformed.
Even the posts above this one completely ignore the paraphrased quote from Trump about getting the black people off the floor while asking for proof Trump is a racist.
It boggles the mind.
