As far as I'm concerned (take that for what it's worth to you), there is very little that NY, either city or state, has done over the past years that is worthwhile. They are way too left of center for me. High tax rates cost the people a lot of money, and those are the people that the politicians are elected to serve, not to steal from. There seems to be the attempt to put almost all phases of life into the govt's hands which is never a good idea as far as I'm concerned. I know what my family and I need more than any govt of any state or nation or city or county knows.
Our Republic seems to have lost its way in NY> I hope it can find its way back, but only time will tell.
