do women ever get attacked by men...ever...this is progressive 2020. should a woman ever be fearful, ever.
I guess there is data someplace that would tell us about the number of women who are victims of violence by men, by race, by women etc...

One thing that seems to have escaped the notice of commenters here... the black birdwatcher man is gay... so the probability of him attacking that woman is close to zero...

That seems incorrect. The general consensus is that rape is more about violence and domination than sexual attraction, which is one reason that otherwise heterosexual men will sometimes rape or sodomize men. |

Don’t be ridiculous. Of course it is if, as I stated, rape is not directly related to sexual attraction. At that point, being sexually attracted to the victim is not necessary for the rapist. Gay men are human beings too and are subject to psychology just like everyone else. |

Closet cases are usually outspoken homophobes and could attack either men or women. They could attack gay men as a result of their self-loathing, and attack women to try to prove they really are not more attracted to men than to women.
The black bird watcher seems to be openly gay and unlikely to have any propensity to attack women in an attempt to prove he wasn't gay.
What seems to be clear in this incident is that the woman knew she was breaking the leash law, and when called on it, she used racial profiling as a way to compensate for her own disrespect for the law.
I'm glad she is being charged.
