There are only three things that have value to me, three things that if I lost, would actually damage me; My relationships, my memories, and my word.
So with that level of importance attached to the last one, I give my word to all in this forum, that if Donald actually does something positive for me in the next four years, I will acknowledge it.
He did NOTHING for me in his last term. He hurt me in many ways, actually, so that is exactly what I'm expecting this time.
But if somehow that changes, I will publicly give him credit for it.

My life and yours are apparently very different, Paleo. That's just how it is. In your life, things he does might have a major positive impact, but that does not mean your life is the standard by which all of us must compare. Your comments tell me that you see me as lying, when I say he hurt me when he was last president. He did. It was awful for me. Never in my 50+ years living in this country did I ever experience direct fear for my safety. ONLY under him, did that happen. And under Biden, things normalized back to the way it was before, with that fear going away. If he helped you, then great, likely he will do so again, but he calls me an enemy. He calls me garbage. It will be interesting to see if they realize what they've done to themselves. Mass deportations, for instance, will not only increase the power of the police state, decreasing our privacy, but will decrease those who do jobs Americans don't want, which will increase prices of groceries, and other products/services that undocumented immigrants tend to perform. High tariffs on foreign made products without increasing domestic production of alternatives will increase the cost of consumer goods, and decrease the variety of goods to choose from. Increased local drilling of oil will ONLY benefit the gas producers, they will not pass on that savings to the consumer. Instead, they will sell it on the open world market, and keep prices/barrel at around what it is right now. Removing the ACA will cause millions of Americans to lose healthcare, which will increase emergency room visits, causing the hospitals to increase prices for the rest of us. I'm not really hearing ANY policies that will lower our costs. All of them seem to favor big business, and an increased police state, but I guess that's what these fools want. Freon |

- here is a list of very specific things that trump did during his presidency that adversely impacted me - some may be direct and some indirect. And similarly, produce a list of positive things.

Also, an intelligent thinker would state outright here are specific things or initiatives or areas of focus that I’d like to see trump address or focus on or implement. If he does these things, and moves the needle from x to y, I would consider that a success, or positive.
Of course, a non thinker, very young immature person, or more emotional person, would speak in terms of I’ll let you know if I think trump does something positive. Last time around he harmed me.
It’s like reading something a child would write.

She lost because for some reason, the quantity of Dems who voted in 2020, did not vote this time. If they did, he would have lost the popular vote by a huge margin. Donald didn't win in a landslide because MORE people voted for him. He won because more people didn't vote. So in terms of the country supporting him, that didn't happen. The joke is is two seconds I can come up with a few things that really bothered me about the biden Harris reign and democrat policies in general - vaccine mandates - disinformation governance board - fbi and cia lying to media and public about laptop - in general the way democrat run cities like San Francisco and others are managed - the border - inflation that I saw a direct result of extended and unnecessary shutdowns mostly by the left in Democrat places combined with printing money - their stated stance on banning semi auto .223’s - the way they pursued even minor trespass offenders from Jan 6 - withholding video evidence from Jan 6 during hearings - the lack of a strategy for North Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Iran etc I could list more but off the top of my head these were issues I looked at. |
