Without resorting to political violence? WTF was JAN 6, 2021? The threat trumP posed wasn't overplayed. It was cheered for and voted for and ushered in by stupid, fearful people whom you are now defending or worse. Wake up, man. This isn't a fvcking game. He didn't resort to political violence to gain office, which is what the Nazis (and the Italian fascists) did. There is no paramilitary arm of the Trump campaign or Republican party.
And as long as we're talking about January 6, the vast, vast majority of those people had absolutely no plan. They committed trespass, vandalism, theft and some other crimes, but had no plan for overthrowing the government or anything else.
There were a small few with a plan, and of the tiny minority that have been charged with sedition, none of those have ever been tied back to Trump or his campaign as far as I know. Feel free to correct me.
Perhaps the same could be said of those that participated in kristallnacht, and hitler... |

Jan 6th could be a dry run for something like Kristallnacht... Like when you're not sure your bath is at the proper temperature and not too hot, you check with a finger, not by plunging into it right away... |

All of the Nazis use of violence was organized; it had a purpose. They had a paramilitary arm (the SA) for a reason.
There was nothing organized about what happened on January 6th. It was a bunch of idiots caught up in the moment. |

There was a plan to object to certification (just like Democrats had done in the past). Nothing about a putsch. Any connection to the people actually charged with sedition?
