Hi. I've been on 12+ hour days awhile, missed out on LNF, anything big happening? Are you lunatics having an election soon? How many hours a week? Are you paid time and a half after eight hours?

Yes, we're having an election soon. Fascists vs the Patriots. I'm with the patriots, though in my state it doesn't matter. Its elecctoral votes belong to the fascists. Trump will not win the popular vote. He can't. I doubt he'll win the electoral vote, but he can. The electoral college is not even an electoral kindergarten any longer. It's as far from founders' intent as anything can be. Slavery played a large part in its creation. The slave states, having gouged additional representation in Congress by the 3/5 rule, wanted additional votes in selecting a president but couldn't figure out a way to let each slave of voting age have 3/5 of a vote. The system of electors more or less fixed that. Done as the founders intended, it would be great. But it hasn't happened in over 200 years.

I'm laughing about the fact that you had the time to respond to this thread, and yet conveniently ignored the threads in which you've been called out on more than one thing. You literally pretend a thread no longer exists when you lack the balls to admit to being wrong. Basically, you're not a man. He drinks like one. ... What kind of a sexist remark is that? An old friend of mine became an alcoholic when he was 19. Fortunately, he was able to be cured of it before his organs were too badly damaged, now he must, likely for the rest of his life, totally abstain from it. Do you think that makes him less of a man?

The old self I’m referring to is from when my wife and I met up with limey in Boston and drank and ate and drank. In that order. Limey visited the U.S.? I'd eat and drink with that crazy SOB.

Limey visited the whole world. There's even a possibility that he'll move to Australia.

Yes he did. Boston. My wife and I took the hour drive up. Met at the black rose. Then walked over and had dinner in the north end at trescas. Then walked back to the black rose. A good 8 hour run I believe. Great time.

Hi. I've been on 12+ hour days awhile, missed out on LNF, anything big happening? Are you lunatics having an election soon? How many hours a week? Are you paid time and a half after eight hours? No, it's day rate. Not the best, l took this job for the activity level, stroke recovery, rather than seniority, so I'm only on around £550 a day. Changing back up a few grades soon.

Hi. I've been on 12+ hour days awhile, missed out on LNF, anything big happening? Are you lunatics having an election soon? Hey, Limey. You had a health scare a little while back. How are you doing now? Well, 16000 steps so far today, including 5 or 6 trips up to the 50m level on the scaffolding... so OK, thank you! I took a series of more junior jobs since leaving rehab ward in June, increasing the activity level, basically using work as more rehab. Doing well, thanks, but if I look up without holding a fence or scaffold, l fall over like a penguin 😅

Hi. I've been on 12+ hour days awhile, missed out on LNF, anything big happening? Are you lunatics having an election soon? Yes, we made a new rule. American lingo only. We banned "chaps" from our vocabulary in 1777. Did you replace it with "mes amis", in gratitude to your military & naval supporters?

I asked some Mafia that spends a lot of time in France if he could find a DaveJavu. He told me that is not a person. It is a way they say “I have lived through some bad times.” Like us here having made it through the hurricane saying “We made it, hope that don’t happen again”. Hard to understand. We are not pea soups.

No. We paid them back and then some in WW1 and WW2 - mostly WW2. We barely showed up in time to bayonet the survivors in WW1. However, chaps is a perfectly good American English word. As in this sentence: "Nothing chaps a Trumpanista's ass more than reporting on what Trump is doing." I used to do it all the time in another forum. Ardent Trump supporters fall into two categories for the most part: the stupid and the willfully ignorant. The latter do not watch or read news, and are kind of proud of it.
