If real JUSTICE is to be served, Trump SHOULD walk free, because, it is on audio that he TOLD the demonstrators to be PEACEFUL, thus, .. he incited NOTHING!
Jack Smith’s Damning, Political, and Legally Flawed J6 Filing against Trump This is not a legal exercise, it’s a political one.
By: Andrew C. McCarthy October 3, 2024 In last night’s column, I discussed the court-endorsed publication of the outline of Biden-Harris Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s evidence against former president Donald Trump. Reading the 165-page document, I’m of two minds, which is natural because Smith’s proffer has two purposes, political and legal. The Politics of the 2024 Election
First, the submission is thorough and damning. No surprise there: Smith’s indictment of Trump in the so-called January 6 case was thorough and damning. (The indictment was superseded last month.) Trump’s comportment between Election Day 2020 and the Capitol riot was appalling; an experienced prosecutor’s comprehensive description of it was bound to be compelling; after all, Smith is portraying his proof in the best possible light, with no judicial admonition that a prosecutor’s summary allegations are not evidence, no cross-examination, and no opportunity for the defense to offer testimony and documents that might put in less incriminating context the bits Smith has mined.

We can only hope that stuey has not reproduced, but if he has, whatever genetic material causes him to think like he does did not infect his issue.
Though he does make Archie seem a little less ignorant. Not much, but a little.

lol, this is a demonstrably clueless post, stu. You think Smith's main point is to win the case? That would only be an additional perk. His genius was to get his exceptionally long brief accepted by the judge, which Donald's lawyers fought with everything they had, and lost. Now, it does not matter whether the case even goes to trial, because that beautiful brief is loaded with evidence that is open to public view, and the left and moderate news agencies are having a field day with it. Smith wanted all that damning evidence to be exposed to the public prior to the election, and he completely succeeded. You're not hearing a peep about it, though, because you only consume far right news which only tells you what you want to hear. Instead of the truth. So now, Donald has to make a call, to either defend himself in the eyes of the undecided voters and his base, or allow these news cycles to pass, and focus purely on his policy platform... ....lol...Donald focus on policy? Not defend himself? He's too predictable. He CANNOT stop himself. He'll drive himself over a cliff, because he has no self-control. Freon

Hey Stuey, what about the fake electors part? Greg There were no 'fake' electors. Might work better if you try saying that while clicking your heels together .. LMAO ..
As part of Donald Trump and his allies’ nationwide effort to undermine the 2020 presidential election, 84 total fake electors across seven states signed false electoral certificates claiming that Trump won the election in their states. As of July 2024, fake electors from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan and Nevada have been charged with crimes, and the remaining fake electors in New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin do not currently face charges.
In Arizona, the final three fake electors involved in efforts to illegally overturn the 2020 presidential election were arraigned on June 18, 2024. Atrial date has been set for January 5, 2026. In total, 11 fake electors and seven Trump aides including former Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows are facing charges for their involvement in Arizona. On August 7, Lorraine Pellegrino, one of the 11 fake electors, pleaded guilty to the charge of filing a false instrument.
At least three of the 16 fake electors in Georgia have been indicted and face prosecution, while eight have agreed to immunity deals. Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones, who was a state senator at the time he allegedly falsified electoral certificates, is facing a special investigation by a state prosecutor.

There is legal and constitutional precedence for what Trump did. You can call it 'fake' until you're blue in the face. It doesn't matter. Sorry.

Mostly the democrats count on the stupidity of the left...
any intelligent person recalls the jan 6 hearings, where all the dems argued he was acting in his capacity as a president....
now that that fell flat, they are arguing well, yes, he was president, but now he was acting as a private citizen, not as president...even though he was president..

So much for constitutional precedent. Greg The electors were legal, and there was precedence to send them. Definitely not fake. The one woman took a plea deal, probably to avoid lawfare, because there definitely wasn't any criminal activity. Some people just can't hold up against legal pressure. You would probably crumble just as fast, if not faster.

I understand it's the right wing way of attempting to justify the criminal activities of Donald Trump. Why are you doing that? 34 felony convictions so far. Why stick up for him? Everyone around him is going to jail. Hell, his lawyers need lawyers. Jaysus. Greg
