Why the lackluster federal response to the hurricane?

There no no where near the blame being placed on Biden Harris as there was on bush Katrina.

And the criticisms I have seen are generally fair and fall into two categories

One is the Biden Harris admin stating they are out of fema money and people looking at billions being sent overseas. That’s fair to question under any admin

And two Harris stating they can get another 157b for Lebanon without convening Congress but saying they must convene Congress for hurricane money.

It’s fair to ask why?

Instead the Biden Harris admin won’t answer any questions and it’s clear they have all been instructed over the last few days to call it all misinformation. Unless it’s all coincidence that they’ve stopped answering questions and shout out it’s all misinformation.

There is a post going around about here are the republicans who voted against fema funding. As if to imply that’s why there is no fema money left.

Here is the truth

- that bill with fema funding that keeps getting referenced in left wing circles passed. I pointed that out in another thread. Whether you agree or don’t agree with those who did not vote for it, the bill passed and fema was funded.

- the reasons those repubs voted against that bill was because it was littered non non fema related pork. You can read the whole bill and you’ll see how much pork was in it.
