No, bastard, calling you fucking imbecile is normal because that's what you are. Of course there are those religious people who are terribly offended by those atheists who don’t volunteer prayers. (See how funny that sounds) Of course that statement is not true. We forgive you. Ha ha.
You accidentally admitted truth. You very much know there's a concerted effort to for kids to pray and say the pledge of allegiance in schools.
Offended people like yourself want to legislate it as a requirement.

What does that have to do with this thread. Man I’d hate to live in you leftist minds. You bounce all over the place. Go back and read the thread.

It’s a joke. I don’t give a crap what atheists or other religious people think or don’t think. I don’t have the controlling ways that atheists seem to have, trying to control what other believe or don’t believe. Stop treading on everyone. I don’t care if one offers prayers or not. It’s a joke. It’s highlighting how ridiculous you sound.

I don't care that you don't care. You're still a part of a group that does care.

I had a stroke at 1100 today. Posting from the specialist unit. Lost use of right leg. I had to have four way bypass surgery two days before Christmas 2010. It was worse than finding out trump was president. Anyway, hang in there and best wishes. After this, much less things will suck.

Fuck you troll. How many times do I have to tell you that before it sinks in? You're not really making sense. Trying to help you out. Carry on. BTW - The irony of you calling me a troll in this context . . .

This is some next level bigotry now. Kinda cuts against the whole science argument. Outcomes should be irrelevant of prayer or no prayer. You are the last person here who should talk about science. And outcomes ARE irrelevant with regard to prayer. Prayer is a salve only to the non afflicted.

So you didn’t read the background of who was proposing this. Let me ask you something. When trump was president. Was AOC a hard right winger who only proposed right wing policies.

There are people that are annoyed by these shenanigans and believe that you should keep your religious beliefs to yourself unless explicitly asked about them, no means no in these matters too. There's an implicit etiquette about those things in France and most people respect it. I don't think limey minded so much. Limey is urbane, he'll never tell you how he feels.

The flaw of all these studies starts with that.

So praying that someone doesn't die from a medical problem is not "what you want?" And your praying has no effect on the physical outcome for the afflicted other than your own belief that it somehow matters? I'd say that a power failure as well as no backup generator have more of an effect on the outcome of someone in the hospital than any number of prayers. I'm not against them, mind you, I just don't place any credence in them as a matter of fact. Sort of like that old saying "wish in one hand and shit in the other....."

Your entire point is based on the premise of "getting what you want" (e.g., power failures, etc.). Saying it louder and more doesn't change what I said. The point of prayer is to align ourselves with God in relationship. There are times (I've seen them) where prayers are miraculously answered. But it's not ultimately about "getting what we want."

Fascinating, so what are you praying for Limey for? What's the request? What does that communication look like?
Obviously your beliefs to not match up to the majority of Christians.
