The new roof is doing just fine. We had only a few sprinkles in the past week, no leaks. I suppose the final test will be this fall/winter, when the heavier rains come. But from what I can tell, it should be OK. Why would it leak? It's a new roof.
Yes, it shouldn't leak. If it did leak, I'd be calling the roofing company for them to explain why.

Well, the real test will come this winter, with the first heavy rainfall.
But I think it will be just fine.
