That sucks! Do you think the Angels wish they had traded him now? I doubt it. They made the decision to go for the playoffs this year partially too keep Ohtani even though it didn't work out especially as the two best players in the game go down. Plus the fan backlash would have been real. |

Fan backlash would have been terrible, yes, but I think they were banking on the full stadiums through to the end of the year more than they were actually making the playoffs. Now that's not likely to happen. |

Fan backlash would have been terrible, yes, but I think they were banking on the full stadiums through to the end of the year more than they were actually making the playoffs. Now that's not likely to happen. Full stadiums are much more likely if you're at least in the race. |
