Oh, and the "Sell The Team" chant was against the current owners, who are trying to move the team to Vegas. The purpose of the chant was to get the current owners to sell the team to someone who will keep the A's in Oakland and not move them to Vegas.
Sorry about that, I know some of you will be disappointed or unbelieving. You're so full of it.

Decisions have already been made. On another note, the A's are suddenly on a roll, winning 7 in a row, even beating MLB's best Tampa Bay Rays. Unfortunately...hitting their stride right before the Jays face them... 😕 |

6th inning: Rays have taken the lead, 4-3, but the A's now have the bases loaded and could even the score, if not take the lead. Rays take a double play, retain the lead.

Well, the A's didn't manage score any more runs this evening, and the Rays won the game 6-3.
I believe they have another game tomorrow, for a four game series. We shall see.

Bottom of fifth inning, Oakland has evened the score to three each. One out, Oakland still at bat. Score remains at 3-3 by top of 6th inning.

By bottom of the seventh inning, score still tied, 3-3. However I was able to find a local radio on-line broadcast of the game, so I don't have to listen to Tampa Bay opinions so much, LOL.

Tampa scored a run in an earlier inning, so the score going into the ninth inning... bottom... is 4-3.
Can the A's score a run to stay alive? We'll see!

The Las Vegas Athletics are getting closer by the day. Athletics deserve better. Maybe even worse than the Tampa Bay franchise—a perennially (and almost miraculously) competitive team with a terrible fanbase and a worse stadium (easily the worst in MLB). Then they should build one without using a cent of taxpayer money. |
