Yes, they have.
But they also have the answer. It seems to be falling on deaf right wing ears.

No. They have answers that will exacerbate the problem and make them worse.
Let me ask you crepe ... and anyone else reading this.
Want to know why BLM has been dormant the past few years under Drumpf?
Do you? If so, I'll put together all of the information I've collected and put it in one post. About the connection between record low African American unemployment, declining African American incarceration, and shootings by police officers declining year over year ...
...until the shutdowns impoverished the newly employed and things started going the other way again.
The very worst thing the African American population could do is elect the Democrats. The coming regulations will do what the Obama regulations did. Stifle business growth and lead to poverty, hopelessness and despair in African American communities. Again.
Because the problem facing the African American community isn't racism. It hasn't been racism for some time now.
It's poverty.

I read Kylin Hill's statement, and I expected it to end with a "So there!!" Frankly, I don't much care for football, don't care about Mississippi College that he attends, don't care if he plays or doesn't play, don't care if he doesn't care about the education in things other than football that he's getting, so there! He's proven himself to be a fool.

I agree with you. The dems make promises to the blacks during election times and then they don't follow through after the election. IMO, it has to begin with education. The 'black schools' notoriously are under-equipped with new things, like computers, books, etc. My youngest son did student teaching at a black school in Houston, TX and was then hired (he moved from Nebraska and didn't like Nebraska weather) and taught there for 10 years. The principal didn't expect a whole lot from the kids, even though most of the parents wanted their kids to succeed. Finally, my kid looked for and got a teaching position in another school with hispanics and white students.. A whole new experience, much more expected from the kids and better equipment. It seems to me to be past time to straighten out the education of our black citizens. Focus on them. Their parents are wanting them to succeed. We all should.

Yes. Poverty that resulted from systemic racism.
Systemic racism that no longer exists. Which is why racism pr0n enthusiasts spend their time masturbating over articles about Emmett Till and "Black Wall Street" and incidents from 30 to 40 years ago.

Sigh.
The REASON why so many black majority schools are derelict has to do with the funding mechanism for most school districts: local property taxes. Guess what? Due to a couple centuries' worth of systemic racism, black communities are economically disadvantaged, and thus their properties are worth less and thus their tax receipts are much lower and thus their schools are under funded.
Some states (like California) have attempted to ameliorate this by supplementing these districts with state funds, but clearly it's not enough, and red states probably could care less about black kids' education.

And we keep throwing money at public education and getting worse and worse results. Not just among the African American population but across the board.
And the answer is always "we need more money." Even tho we spend more than any other Western countries on education as it is. And the results keep trending downwards.
But I'm sure the problem is more money. That'll fix it. "clearly it's not enough." No. It's not. Money isn't the problem.

A good parallel is how the left has been trying to combat homelessness in California by throwing more money at the problem. We're spending more money "combating" homelessness than we ever have.
And we keep getting more homeless people. Weird.
An essential component of "liberalism" is acknowledging when your ideas don't work. Sometimes progress means going back when you hit a dead end road.

A few posts ago, racism wasn't the problem, poverty was. Now, money won't solve the problem because why? Because the black people will still be black?

2000 years ago there was this liberal guy walking around talking about how giving a man a fish feeds him for a day, and teaching a man to fish feeds him for life.
Are you *still* playing catchup? Fuck, dude. It's been 2000+ years. We really don't have time to keep waiting for you to "get" it.
