BTW. I did love Rick. But while on the boards there was only one disagreement we had ... over suicide. Off the boards we had a lot of disagreements. On the nature of infidelity in marriage and on the stupidity of the type of sock puppet accounts Rick had that maleorder copied for example.
He used to offer me access to his accounts cuz he thought it was both hilarious and masterful that nobody ever knew who was posting when one of the accounts he was associated with posted. I always rolled my eyes and argued "that's the point to the anonymous Internet. Real posters only address the subject matter of posts and couldn't give two shits what username is associated with the point made." He would respond that I'm a boring stick in the mud and go about having his fun that nobody noticed.
Rick was never banned for being a "liberal" on a conservative forum either.
