For me, it’s roast turkey with all the trimmings. Mashed potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob, cranberry jelly and pumpkin pie. Yummmm!
I try to eat roast turkey at least once every two or three weeks. Although the place that sells it uses rice instead of mashed potatoes.
I also love chicken cacciatore. It’s like spaghetti except with pieces of chicken breast.
Basically, I like almost any poultry dish.

Pan seared oven roasted chicken thighs seasoned with red pepper, lemon zest and tarragon served on basmati rice with an arugula bacon salad..

He was a selfless courageous person who fought against antisemitism and more generally against prejudice all his life and a very talented writer to boot, a novelist and a journalist.

meat loaf and mashed potatoes. Green beans or baby carrots for a side, sometimes both. Also chicken livers with mashed potatoes. Also partial to fried catfish.

For a while I was pretty good at whipping up Chinese style dinners.
I say "style" because I'm not actually Chinese.
So sue me.

He might have been more like our legendary Mark Twain, who I think was against slavery and all it did to black Americans. As I recall, he moved north to Connecticut to escape the evils of the racist South.

Mr. Fudd, do you realize that they aren't baby carrots. Yes, I do. Nevertheless, that's how they are described on packages and menus No problem here. I've eaten them too, it just seems so wasteful, but I'm sure babies or livestock eat the leavings. I love catfish, but these days I have to catch it or see it caught. There's very little foodstuffs (none) that I eat from China or SE Asia. At one point something like 60% of the catfish sold in Mississippi restaurants was from Vietnam. "The trouble began in the mid-2000s, when feed prices shot up as ethanol demand drove up corn prices. Around the same time, US restaurants started buying much cheaper whitefish from Asia, especially Vietnamese swai. The imports sparked a bitter trade war, with American farmers claiming again and again that swai were raised in “cesspools”. Much of the “catfish” found on US menus now is actually swai, tilapia or other unrelated fish, experts say." www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/apr/10/belzoni-mississippi-catfish-capital-world-asian-fish-flood
